Love your ideas! My 16 year old niece had birthday party and the invitation was kind of fancy. I copied the invitation on tissue paper and Decoupage it on a round Christmas ornament. I got the idea from you. Your our much appreciated!

@thediystruggle just got a few of your items in the mail today. The 2 rice paper sheets, the one with the moose and music on it. The other sheet is with the beautiful deer on it. I also got the ornaments and things, and thank you for the wood ornament. I am going to start doing a lot of decoupage starting tomorrow. I think I have you on Instagram. I love the last ornament. (All of them really, but the last one spoke to me. I can imagine a huge tree with lots of those, some of the roses you did earlier on the wood slices, lots of solid pink, solid greens, and gold, plus pink silk roses, gold beads. Thanks for the video. Very inspirational!

26:35 I ❤ the technique 😮 very pretty. We had breakable ornaments so yes. I enjoy it. My Gramma was a seamstress so I sow everything by hand. It was taught to me in the very early 80s ❤ doesn't have to look petty but I always had a fresh set of bedding ♡ homemade

Hi! I’m new to decoupaging but I really enjoy it, and your videos are the best 🙂 I have a question (and it may be silly 😅)… I try to use a paintbrush with water to “cut” out a part of a napkin but my water tends to spread so much. How would it work if you painted the clay before gluing onto the ornament? Or would the paint prevent the clay from drying?

I have struggled with this on plastic... also depending on the paint. I have absolutely done it on wood and it was fine but plastic I've had the paint pop off. I hope that helps
