This was so informative and enjoyable. I also love and admire our unique scale anchihoye and ambassel! It does something to my heart. Abraham, you should teach more about Ethiopian music history and theory, it’s inspiring.

Thank you both indeed. Ato Abraham is very modest person and has very profounfded knowledge of music . As a musician, he talks more of physics , mathematics and medizin. I am a neurophsyiolgist. It is interesting to listen from musician points of view about how different disciplines interrelated. I am afraid that ethiopia is loosing such professionals like Ato Abraham. It is really Very sad. I am from piasa too. Grow up in the Heart of piasa in Lalibela Hostel clotho Gebretinsay cake , umerkaiam and Taitu hotel. Life has changed, but now i live in Europe. A year a go I was in DC for a medical congress just for 4 days. I meet just a taxi driver ethiopian guy. በርቱ በርቱ .ሬስቶራንቱ ጥሩ ይመስላል መበርታት ብቻ ነው የፒያሳ ልጅ good job🎉
Wow...I like it...we need 2 more hours of interview with him.

I agree with Abrish! Music is so much more than a beat to dance to, it's a language that's meant to be studied inorder to be appreciated

I felt so sad when I thought this type of talented people left their country and the industry to work in complete different sectors. I think this plays a significant role in the industries downfall.

The guest is talking about natural order or principle of vibration, however the host is questionable.
It would have been more informative and enjoyable if the guy was using a musical instrument ( Dj Fatsu, get an old piano in the studio)

Isnt anchihoye harmonicminors pentatonic? Anchihoye is not foreign to uitsiders non Ethiopians. There are a number of cultures specially Indians, southeast asians and Japanese that use the same scale.
