Congratulations Celia!!! 💜💜💜 I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly. You are one of the latest comments on here and that’s why I decided to reply to you. I am kind of on the same boat as you… I “think” I had a miscarriage a couple of years ago, and just last Friday I got my positive test result! May God be with us in every step of our journey. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m terrified of pregnancy. I had a stillbirth at 28 weeks last year and just had a miscarriage at 9 weeks last week. Both times I found out during an ultrasound- excited to see my baby. I was blindsided and was emotionally devastated each time. I still struggle with seeing period blood, avoid my friends baby showers and struggle interacting with pregnant women and/or babies. I’ve come a long way with my partner and through journaling and counselling. Despite all this, I will never stop trying to get pregnant. Life is too short to live in fear of what could happen. It’s been over 3 years since we started trying to conceive, but I still have a lot of strength because these pregnancies happened. Wishing you all healthy pregnancies and please don’t lose sight of the idea you’ll be holding your baby one day.

I’m so sorry for your losses. I experienced a loss (after 5 early miscarriages) at 17 weeks that absolutely devastated me. It’s the most painful thing I’ve experienced aside from witnessing my living child through life threatening events. Have you seen any videos on PTSD after miscarriage? Might be a good watch. Again, I am truly sorry for your losses. I admire your positive outlook and hope you have your baby soon ❤

I just had my first miscarriage and I wanted to say it's not comforting for people to remind me how common it is. I think they're worried I'll blame myself and they mean well. However, even if it happened to every single women, it doesn't make it any less devastating or sad. I think it's nice to acknowledge that part of it.

I had a 15 week miscarriage in 2012 and never received a diagnosis or closure. It really messed me up hormonally and mentally for a long time. My heart goes out to everyone who have experienced this sadness. Fast forward to 2023 and I am 31 weeks pregnant and I cannot fully be comfortable due to the fear.

Lost my first pregnancy and found out I had a benign tumor on one of my parathyroid glands. Had it removed, lost a second pregnancy at four weeks (chemical pregnancy technically). Now pregnant for a third time at six weeks today, but I'm trying to be hopeful. Praying for my rainbow baby 🍼🌈 Talking to the women in my life, I found out nearly all of them have suffered a miscarriage, and they're all mothers with multiple children. More miscarriages happen than you realize, and knowing that made me feel more hope.

I have to get a D&C for a missed miscarriage. I just learned about this at my 12 week checkup.. the baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. :( I had no idea that could happen. I always thought if you had a miscarriage you'd start having cramps, bleeding, etc. But I never even spotted once. I saw the heartbeat at 8 weeks. I've been following you guys since I found out I was pregnant, and searched your channel to see if you had a video on it. I'm so sad I won't be finishing this journey.. it was my first pregnancy at 32 years old.

Same here. I skipped this one till today too. But I haven't had bleeding. I thought it'd be cool to do progression line with ovulation and positive pregnancy tests where the line gets as dark as control... but yesterday they got so light and this morning was very light and by afternoon when I took 4 more the line was completely gone and digital said not pg. So I guess I'm just waiting to start bleeding. I'm crushed.

New Instagram follower and KZbin subscriber here! So happy to have found your accounts! I just wanted to say thank you for your sharing your personal story, empathy, compassion and zeal for patient education with all of us! I didn't expect to be a healthy 32 year old miscarrying at 10w in August. The most important and meaningful thing I heard from my visits was "you didn't do anything wrong." Even though I knew that, hearing someone tell me that was powerful. Thank you thank you for talking about this and for being so empathetic while doing so. I find a lot of providers will tell you the statistics and tell you not to worry about it and brush it off as unlikely. It would have meant so much to me to have this approach to that conversation before my husband and I started trying to conceive. We’re both under 30 and healthy and we got pregnant on the second try, but unfortunately had a miscarriage at 4 weeks and 6 days and I was absolutely devastated. Two months later and I just got my BFP! I’m only 4 weeks, and hoping it sticks this time. This video was so comforting. I appreciate you!

I had a miscarriage my first pregnancy at 10.5 weeks along and only 25 years old and wasn’t well informed by my OB about the risks and they didn’t see my light bleeding as anything to worry about until the Miss AirTags occurred soon after. Thank you for your video, wish I saw it sooner. I have shared my experience to spread awareness to others. Every time I hear someone's pregnancy loss story, I hurt for them, and feel a tremendous amount of respect and gratitude toward them. Because of information and stories courageously shared, I feel I can go into TTC with eyes open. Nothing fully prepares you for grief, but I feel more prepared and supported in advance if it does happen. My husband and I are finally really trying (after 6.5 years of marriage), and I'll know next week if this cycle was successful. Again, I'm grateful for all your videos, including this one.

My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 8 weeks on Mothers Day this year. I am 33 years old It was a blighted ovum and the gestational sac grew up to 6 weeks. My body missed the miscarriage and did not recognize it until weeks after we noted the miscarriage may be occuring. The sac passed naturally. It was absolutely long and devastating and it makes you feel like something is wrong with your body. Particularly a missed miscarriage makes you feel like you can't even trust your body. The trauma from miscarriage followed me every moment I went to the bathroom, and the PTSD triggered uncontrollable tears anytime I remotely saw an ultrasound on TV. Nothing is your fault. More often than nor, there is nothing you did wrong and nothing you could've done to prevent it from occurring. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. We waited for my first period and when emotional ready, we started right away. The following month after miscarrying I am now pregnant with my Rainbow. We saw him on the ultrasound and he has a strong heartbeat and measuring on time. Please keep the faith ladies. Things do not always happen on our time, but it can occur. Keeping all you future and current moms on my thoughts and prayers.❤

This is right on time. I experienced a chemical pregnancy about 2 weeks ago. I was so excited that for a week, I got 7 positive tests, last test being taken the Friday before I went to the ER the following Monday because I was afraid I was miscarrying. The only thing I did not like is that the physicians did not treat it as a pregnancy and treated me as if I just "thought" I was pregnant.

Unfortunately I have heard many stories from friends with ER doctors really not showing compassion for miscarriages. It is really sad and horrible to not only hear that you lost your baby, but not having even a little sympathy from the healthcare worker in this terrible time makes it 1000× worse. I was so very lucky, and I know that sounds so strange when it comes to miscarriage, but I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks and found out at the ultrasound and the ENTIRE staff was so compassionate and understanding while I quite literally felt like I was falling into pieces. Looking back I could not have found out such a terrible thing in a more caring place and that REALLY helped with the healing process afterward. I wish more people especially healthcare providers could be even half that compassionate with delicate matters like loss no matter the weeks. ❤

Have barely started this video and felt like I had to leave a comment already. Here I am, at the end of a second consecutive miscarriage (9 weeks pregnant, seems like it was a missed miscarriage since the baby was too small for how far along I was and no heartbeat) and am devastated. Since the beginning of my pregnancy I felt I was left in the dark by the doctors I've seen and it is a horrible feeling. I also wish my miscarriage was better explained to me. I'm determined to find a doctor that will take my concerns seriously and will help me (as much as possible, of course) have a healthy pregnancy. Thank you for your content. It is truly helpful to us all! 💜

My 2 week follow up is today so I have a prepared list of items to discuss with him- still a bit scared that it may happen again as I am 42, but I know that I should just remain calm & not worry myself unnecessarily. Thank you for talking about this, it was hard to watch and I did have some tears but not due to being triggered by what you said but because of the compassion you both have. I had a miscarriage and then 9 months later I was pregnant again, it was hard because me and 2 of my sisters were pregnant at the same time and I miscarried and they didn’t but they had so much compassion towards me and my mother didn’t talk about their pregnancies because she didn’t know how it would make me feel because I was devastated and she didn’t want to add to the pain I was already going through but I told my mom of course I wanted to hear about how my sisters are doing I may have miscarried but I wouldn’t blame them for having healthy babies(which they both did I now got a niece and nephew) and I wanted to know all about it and pray daily that they don’t have to go through the pain of miscarriage. My mom was surprised when she heard my rant but understood that being the oldest out of the 3 of us I was worried about my sisters and decided to keep me updated on how they were doing since she talked to them more then I did and I was great full to her for that and also let her know I was great full for her thinking about me and my feelings. My heart goes out to any who have miscarried it’s a devastating process and painful in more then one way. ❤

I am part of the “less than one percent” I have had 3 losses in the past year. One at 11 1/2 weeks that nearly killed me, I almost bled to death after using medication at home to pass baby, and 2 chemical pregnancies. Currently 5 weeks 2 days pregnant and terrified. I’ve had 6 children. I am getting up there in age. I turned 40 earlier this year. I feel as though my body is failing me all of a sudden. I know I am beyond blessed to have 6 amazing children. I always dreamed of having 10 kids. I am certain I won’t have 10 kids now, but was hoping for one more. It’s very heartbreaking to experience so much loss especially when I know the joy of a healthy problem free pregnancy! My first appointment is scheduled for just shy of 8 weeks and I’m already terrified to go.

We saw ultrasound heartbeat at 8? weeks. We had just announced our first (finally!) at 11 weeks. We had to explain miscarriage at 12 weeks. It IS heartbreaking, and we are still in the shock phase, as it's been less than a week. I advise everyone, if possible, Get a Genetic Screen. It may not influence any decisions, but you might get an answer on _WHY_ you lost your child. We wouldn't know WHY our child passed, or boy or girl, except the test came back only a couple hours before I took my wife to the ER just after it started. The ER docs were able to tell us we had lost a girl to Turner's/monosomy-X. Now we at least could give a name to the baby we'll never see. 😭😭😭 Without a genetic test, we'd still be wondering what WE did wrong, rather than being told 'there was nothing you could have done.' Maybe we'll stop blaming ourselves at some point. We're still sobbing. Sorry, Bjorkmans, had to unsubscribe. I was loving your vids, now they're too painful to watch. I hope to return, but I don't know when.

Bt don’t have any other options bt to agreed to terminate it. It was the hardest and most painful decision of my life. I am 34 and I had my first miscarriage on Sunday at 8 weeks. I also don't have any other children. When I found out I was pregnant I was shocked because we had been trying months before but had stopped trying since I thought maybe I was unable to have children. So, when we did get pregnant it was unexpected. My blood pressure was high before apparently, so at my first appointment it stood at 186/112, and over different doctor's appointments, even after changing my diet and continuing to exercise it went to about 165/101 consistently. I started spotting on Tuesday, up until Sunday morning at 4 a.m., where I saw alot of blood and tissue. I am hurt, angry and sad and pretty much afraid this is it. There will never be another chance. 😔

I just had my first miscarriage. It was emotional devastating. I am sorry for anyway going through now, or how have been through it in the past. Just a few things I wasn't prepared for. I didn't realize how long it could take. I had an ultrasound and confirmed heartbeat and baby was 7 weeks, the next week I started bleeding and confirmed baby no longer had a heartbeat with ultrasound. Bleeding started on a Wednesday, the next Wednesday I was in the ER for heavy bleeding that caused me to pass out. I thought that day was the day I would have lost the baby, but that didn't happen until Sunday. I was not at all prepared for what that would look like, because my doctor also said it would be rare for me to see much but head, eyes, body, arms, and legs were clearly visible and a shock I wasn't emotionally ready for. Also, it has been almost 6 weeks and still have a positive home pregnancy test. I guess I just thought it would be over by now. After all the emotions, and bleeding for 3 weeks, I am learning that it is normal to feel a little physically run down after. I wish more people talked about some of the more uncomfortable truths because what you go through is awful enough, you shouldn't have to feel alone on top of everything.

Love this video. ❤️ Is there a way that you can make a video going more in-depth about stillbirth, causes, TTC after, etc.? I experienced a term stillbirth (39+1 weeks) with my firstborn/daughter three weeks ago with some debate whether it was because of the true knot found. It's been hard to find videos like this one that are medical without being too jargony. It truly rocked my world. Everyone talks about waiting to announce, which I did, but yet don't truly understand that there really is no "safe zone," that pregnancy loss can happen at any time, sadly. I don't want mothers/birthing people to be as blind-sided as I was.

Just to note its best to call your OB if you suspect a miscarriage anyway because they can do blood tests to see if hcg is low and if you have a negative blood type an Anti D shot may be necessary to prevent a future baby from rhesus syndrome. So I would call my doctor anyway, even if they can’t stop the loss.

I recently had a miscarriage at 8+2 and I did end up seeing my baby. It might be uncommon but I really wish I had been told that it could happen because standing in the bathroom with my dead baby in my hand was not a situation I was prepared for. I'm sure the experience would have been less traumatic if my doctors had just told me it could happen and also options on what to do with it.

I hear that, Leanna, and I'm not exactly sure why that is. Maybe partly because people don't share their heartbreak as often if they have one miscarriage and then get pregnant after that? Unclear.
