What kind of monster abandons a helpless puppy? There are animal rescue organizations you can always call. And they'll even come pick up the animal, even in the middle of a pandemic.

A lot of these so called rescue places won't even answer unless they think you are going to DONATE to them...so people just DUMP them! OR they take them to a kill shelter and forget about it!!! The only so called rescue outfit that will come out at night is when the sheriff calls them like for puppy mills or neglect of several animals. I'm not taking up for these people , just letting people know that not all rescue places are the compassionate, caring people they want you to think they are! AND if you live in a rural area...it is hard as hell to get someone to take an animal in because they are always FULL!

I lost my 28 month old Great Dane in January to Osteosarcoma. She was my right hand when it came to rehabbing so many foster Danes in her short, but wonderful life. She managed to get her AKC Conformation Championship, as well as titles in Obedience & Rally. She gave every foster that came here so much courage & love, they all have thrived in their homes thanks to Lucy. She was amazing. This video made me miss her more than usual & reminded me of the wonderful sister she was to all the rescues that came through my door. They left here & went on to live their best lives.
