@@erikblom3147 they can feel appreciation 😭 just not the same way we do nor how we express it. They feel relief when they're cared for. A lot of snakes that bite in captivity aren't doing it to be vicious but because they're excited for food and too impulsive because they're used to being given food once their enclosures are opened/associate someone with food and just get excited. But they feel relief and appreciation when they're helped, they just show it through not immediately turning around to try and kill you. You can see it in the snake, the relaxing after being given water is the snake showing appreciation from being relieved of dehydration. It's one of the only feelings I've seen all animals express, from bugs to humans. Relief. They can appreciate care.

It's a good thing you never tried this with a rattlesnake since they're vipers, they can strike incredibly fast. Much faster than a cobra. Cobras are also the most intelligent out of all snake species so they can probably tell when someone is trying to help them and so they're not likely to bite.
@DIDYOUSEETHAT1722 жыл бұрын
@@UncleHowdy_WWE LOL as I said in the beginning, it was a rattlesnake, that was my side business trapping, rescuing, and releasing rattlesnakes that crawled into shipping yards and peoples homes in the summer. The rattlesnakes I worked with rarely struck out at me until completely cornered and even then they were more rattle than strike. Most snake bites occur when people step on snakes, or try to pick them up, or people see one freak out and start hitting it with a stick. This whole thing in a movie where you here a rattle then a person goes down is bullshit. Snakes that go directly at people are extremely rare. Not to mention the majority of rattle snake bites are dry bites, in other words a warning to leave them alone. No venom, most vipers can control the amount of venom they inject, the most dangerous bites occur in North America by young or juvenile rattlesnakes who have not learned to control their venom. Or people see newborns and pick them up, or step on them, they are fully equipped with fangs and venom, but no rattles have grown out yet.

It really looked like the snake understood the guys intentions when it saw the bottle of water. I'm so glad there are people out here like this man.

It is a life being totally helpless! needing help desperately to get relieved to breath at ease. Amazing how this wonderful guy released him from that painfully tight cords squeezing him all over. Imagine that pain plus thurst and hunger it was dealing with. This is pure kindness. I am lost for words. This man is sent from heaven to let this creature move back to where it belongs to. May he receive everything he aspires in life! He is a rare find. Glad he happens to be snake catcher if that was the case. Poor creature got that utmost relief finally! Imagine that feeling! Rare incident to eyewitness. totally amazing! God bless him!!!

Those people are wonderful they're helping an animal that could turn around and kill you but it was wonderful to see someone helping an animal that was in trouble and being so respectful I'm not trying to hurt him in the process I'm so glad that he was released back into nature where he can go live his State the rest of his little snake life I think it's wonderful when people help animals and by the way snakes are not evil there's no evil animal except for humans so I'm so happy to see they're still good humans left in the world under the sick I help you go out and live the rest of the your sneaky life in peace and comfort you're all awesome thank you

That guy was super chill in that situation & knew that it was hard to tell how long it had been since the poor animal had drank any water. That snake knew he was trying to help & that was really neat to witness!!! Happy ending for everyone involved!!!

How it's body dangles so relaxed after he cut the net shows how relieved it felt. I've caught snakes for a long time (non venomous) and usually they thrash and can hurt their spine in that position. Not that he handled it improperly, he was amazing at reading this snake and quickly switched to holding it in a way that was safer for it. You can see how this animal is far less panicked than it could have been because of how gentle and caring this man was.

You could tell from the total absence of hood flaring after the water. Snake was still tense, but not agitated and panicking.

Every animal feels fear, even the scary ones. They just want to live as well and they certainly deserve to. That makes it all the sweeter when someone has the courage and understanding to help even those creatures who could in turn easily kill that helper, but almost every animal knows when it is being helped and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a dangerous creature act docile towards its benefactor. THANKYOU to all those who have the compassion and courage to not just help the cute animals but any animal in need. Any friend of animals is a friend of mine !

😂😝there are NOT any kind of cobras in NJ. or in any of US states!! Only poison ones are many species of rattlers, copperheads, moccasins, & coral snakes in South.

0:25 it's not a King cobra. It is a Binocellate cobra, Naja naja, and is an entirely different species. The "spectacle" mark on the dorsal aspect of its hood is an unmistakable identifier. King cobra, Ophiophagus hannah, has a solitary inverted V-shaped pattern of lighter scales on the dorsal aspect of its hood.
