I agree that people should try and help to the best of their ability, and take necessary risks. However, if your fear tells you that you won't be able to actually do any physical saving, then don't be reckless if you don't have to be. There are other ways to help than physically reaching out. The fear of being swept away is 100% reasonable. In that situation, do not go down and put yourself in a situation that forces others to save you too. Call for help. Get people who can go down there instead. Lol I might have worded that a little harshly. There are some situations that are just too dangerous to deal with, and if you're not physically or mentally qualified, and you're not directly in the problem (like a burning building), then I think calling for help, or lending support is the next best thing you can do.

The first young man was so very brave with such a warm heart ❤💙💜💖. He really had no beyond saying the dog. When all the other brave helpful souls stepped in to help this helpless dog 🐕 out of this situation. That dog must have felt helpless. It trusted them to help it out you are all heroes to me! Humanity is thus: If you take 2 adult humans, regardless of their gender, race, sexuality, ethnicity, or economic standing, and locked them away in sensory deprevation chambers for 60 hours (just 12 hours shy of the 'death by dehydration' threshold), before then seating them at a table with just enough food and water for 1 person, and a knife, they are JUST AS LIKELY to kill the other so they don't share *OR* sharing the food and water, even if it would only prolong their hunger and thirst. Saving a dog is compassion for it (yes, an animal is an "it", we should think about that!), But i hope humanity will show compassion to each other... to their neighbors too, even i'f they show hate to them... because when someone shows hate, this person has a real problem inside his heart. Sometimes they bring pest with or other bad dessease. Other times they just still your food, or bite the electrical parts from your car(in winter)...but sometimes, ty hey show you that your ship is sinking, or, in Jail can be a long lasting friend... I am not a Buddhist, but a Christian. I eat meat, but rare, when I drink a good vine, and in small quantities. I love(like) dogs more then any other pet, but even dog can be bad, unclean and not good to care of it. Our Creator teach us how to classify the animals. Clean and unclean.
