This is a great, real and awesome instructor! This instructor teaches the form, breaks it down and flows. Making Henkas teaches you to understand the technique. The same teaching style as Bruce Lee. A good instructor in the Bujinkan is very rare, they are all tied to the katas and do not flow.

Good teacher, most of the time the Bujinkan suffers horribly from kata collectors and very slow movement. Here we see it's principles actually used effectively. Nice to see someone else getting it. Good videos from this guy.

Great breakdown of the rhythm. That is very important in self defense. In a fight you can’t always wait for the next attack to get into a good Kamae. 🙏🏾🙂🥋🏆

And I love highlighting Natalie's technique at the end of the video, a yellow belt.

I love this guys dojo and class. Some of the students throw really quick punches like in 6:53 and he (Sensei Todd Ryotoshi Nocross) just goes in and proves his techniques works as a viable defense mechanism. Its a joy to watch such a skilled and yet humble martial artist teach in a very fun and believable way. If I could id immediateley join allthough I gave up on other things such as Iaido a while ago.

Watching your videos are very interesting. I wonder where your ninjutsu philosophys are though? Like using mitsubishi, or using the great divine for techniques to come to you, or even getting to a corner of the square to force them to step.

I have heard that in krav maga you use the knuckles of your pointer and middle fingers to punch, but in boxing you use the last three knuckles (pinky, ring, and middle). How do you guys punch? also, your class looks like so much fun, good job!
@Melanrick
@Melanrick 7 жыл бұрын
If you use the last three knucles to punch, you will break them. Been there, done that. You have to use the first 2. And yea, i did boxing and yea, if you use the last three knucles, you are doing it wrong. Especially when you hit a man's face. Actually, dont punch anyone in the face. Lesser the chances of you breaking your hand.

Melanrick thanks, I don't study any kind of striking art, so anywhere I can get help
@Jerry-uc1pn

@@Melanrick This is objectively wrong. The first 2 knuckles are no tougher than the last 3 and in fact weaker since you are spreading the force over 2 points instead of 3.

@@Jerry-uc1pn 100% correct. Anyone with the ability to think for themselves will realize this. Don't believe everything your Karate teacher says.

@@Jerry-uc1pn Very true this is a common misconception in they both have advantages and disadvantages but in a street fight the bottom three are best to hit with and of course you should comdition the on a wimg chun wall bag so thay get harder.
