These look so great. I'd love to see more of these kind of recipes, but ones you can prepare in advance. So something you can make a day ahead, put in the fridge and then bake off in the morning. With 7 people sleeping over on new years day, I won't have time, or energy, to make something like pancakes or anything else that's baked separately. Keep those great video's coming, they're such good inspiration for my holiday baking!

As a kid, I was taught to make eggnog by taking left-over french toast batter (eggs & milk) and adding vanilla and sugar and blending it together. Top with a sprinkle of nutmeg. So, the eggnog french toast recipe is pretty funny to me.

We dont typically eat breakfast on christmas day because we have a huge dinner so we like to have an empty stomach in preparation, sometimrs we have a few shortbread cookies with a cup of tea though, but these would go down great at my house on boxing day or new years day.

Molasses is just a signature flavour in gingerbread in North America (at least I know no other place, except maybe Britain? I don't know). Where I live, I've never ever seen Molasses in gingerbread. But "your" gingerbread is also always quite thin and crispy, isn't it? That's also something you won't find here. Ours is quite to very soft and at least 0.5 (but there is hardly any gingerbread as thin as that) - 1 cm thick. :)
