Hitboxes. Some combos are easier on certain characters because their hitboxes are larger... In some situations certain combos are only possible on certain characters because of their hitboxes.

Well, that's how combos work, some are easier to execute on some characters than others, fall speed, hitboxes all that stuff needs to be taken into account when thinking about that.

It'd be easy on characters like Hugo, Urien and Dudley because they have big/janky hitboxes, yet characters like Ryu, Sean or Oro have smaller ones so it's harder to land those combos
