Interesting. Totally different system in Canada. Sewer lines go straight from the house underground to main sewer line running under the street with manhole access at intervals in the street. If you need to clean out the line a snake is fed from a cleanout in the house to the connection below grade to the main line under the street. there are no intermediate openings in your yard. In almost all of Canada the sewer lines have to be at least 4 feet underground to be below the frost line in the winter. Anything shallower would freeze solid :(

Poor Jenny who has to watch and edits herself when she appears by phone 😂 Edited to add: the shoutouts are awesome! I agree 1-2 a week on predictable days are awesome. Id really like to know were that emptied just so i could see how many fly maggots you cleared. I dont know what they are doing to cause that much of a maggot problem, if it was a meat slaughter house i could understand that mess, even if it was caused by the fat clog id like to know what it is they flushing down the drain. Human bodies desolved in acid or do these people just flush pulp and crap like that down the drain. That drain had a wad of fat but that didnt cause all the stuff that got passed it, flies like stuff such as pulp its got alot of nutrients in it whatever it was they were eatin and breeding in is why all 3 drains were clogged so its a problem thats been happening for awhile, alot longer than that fats been stuck in there, that would have caused a back up of more debri behind the fat which would have pushed the fat out due to the pressure behind it the main problems were a back up from the main drain which went to the third drain before the fat drain. Apologies but this is kinda how my brain works figuring out problems and what caused the problems, in my experience when it comes to problems its rarely just one thing that causes it, its usually multiple little problems that created the bigger more noticeable problem.
