Honestly I think hes just a really good actor and used to playing the heart throb..it's very hard to believe he's actually a good person and not just good at pretending he is. His ex wife cited faud as their reason for breaking up which I'm assuming means that he wasn't who she thought he was not actually that he committed fraud. The fact that they can't work together says a lot I mean everyone in Hollywood is an ex and still works together what's the deal?

Hilarie Burton said that Chad Michael Murray defended her from an assault by the One Tree Hill creator, and Sophia Bush commended him on doing so. I think that speaks volumes to his character that he did that. Sophia on the other hand, wrote an article on a different ex husband’s ex’s abortion, and how abortion was the reason she could have a future with him, (even though she filed for divorce after just 13 months of marriage). And even if her ex husband and his ex consented to the article being written and regardless of what your stance on abortion is, it comes across as self-centered.

They ran TV ads about it. And I imagine that was hard for him as well. It was a very ugly situation on their part. I think they kind of lived for the drama.” Which I think says a lot more about the toxic work environment and people they were in and around than Chad Michael Murray being a terrible person.
