Can’t wait to try! I have a whole bag full of homegrown Avos. I was gonna save the pits to make tea but I love a good tie dye 🌈

I usually throw the pits away and just use the avocado rinds.

Does the color wash out or fade or is it permanent?

I wouldn't be able to buy avocado and not eat it lol, but I love dying clothes ❤️✨

You use the pit and skins to dye :)

@@chelseakatie02 🌹 By all means eat the avocado fruit but use the pit or the skins to make a pretty pink water. If you're not a crafter you probably wouldn't have any reason to try it. 🙂

this type of "dye" is actually a stain, washing the garment will most definitely get rid of it.
@michellezevenaar4 жыл бұрын
Soo how to you make it a permanent stain? I know that many normal dyes need salt to set, would some similar work?
@a.a.s.37994 жыл бұрын
@@michellezevenaar no way to do that... you need chemical dye if you want it to stick permanently, but i guess for drapery or an ornamental thing it would still be ok, although the color will definitely change through time and probably develop a smell or worse, mould.
