4:34 my absolute FAVORITE Imperfect Cell line in the series. The implications with it are chilling and capture Cell's character perfectly (I know what I said.). The only thing i'm disappointed they couldn't work in from the original series is when Cell is powering up at the start of the episode, you can actually see the spirits of the thousands of people he's absorbed, giving him a ghostly aura.

So the prevailing theory is that Dr. Gero was able to recover one of the Saiyan scouters and reverse engineer it to give 16 the ability to detect life energy, get an estimate of a person's power level in comparison to himself, and get details on their anatomy. That's how he could calculate how much of Cell was Goku's DNA

It's a funny quandary, since when Cell regenerates after nuking himself, he points at his head, yet previously his torso was destroyed. So he's either really good at quickly moving that all important core nucleus cell around, or he has multiple and just one of them takes over for regenerating. Either that or we get a theoretical early Buu split!

2:06 - key note here, Cell is Smart. Cell could only track the power levels of the Z fighters and humans, not the Androids. When Cell noticed that Piccolo was using a lot of power and did not detect anybody else was there, Cell figured out that Piccolo was fighting (not training) and that the Androids were likely at that location.

The part when Cell says "If it's any consolation that hurt like hell" is an almost verbatim reference to the movie Wishmaster. The Djinn in the movie is wished by the protagonist to put a gun in his mouth and shoot himself. He does, but isn't killed but he says to her "If it's any consolation sweet Alex, that hurt like Hell!'. I would highly recommend you both check it out :)
