12:18 For context, there's this game called Sonic Rush where its about Sonic and Blaze working together, and each time they win a boss fight they get a special animation on the result screen. Blaze does some gymnastics or cool poses, whereas Sonic literally just breaks down. The "have a nice fall" line is from a meme where Sonic beats Blaze in her boss battle, says that line as she falls, (he doesn't actually say it) then it immediately cuts to him busting it down.

Silver is a character from an Apocalyptic future that wants to prevent the future from being the way it is by going to the past to prevent what happened, but he was tricked into thinking that sonic was the cause of it by Memphis hense why he always refuses to sonic as the ibliss trigger and wants to kill him to restore his future. That's petty much the plot of silvers story in thus game.

Sonic 06 was nearly complete but they were forced to release an earlier build due to the team being split in half and rushed for the holiday season. Like the manual has shit in it shown *in screenshots fully programmed and modeled and functional* that don't show up in the game at all. Also Thousand Year Door is one of the best RPGs of all time up there with the likes of Fallout New Vegas and Final Fantasy 7

Correction: It's not a PC port. Project 06 is technically a remake, from the ground up. Apparently, the developer had never even played the actual game and only watched KZbin videos of it before starting the project, but he managed to make a game that is more stable and controls better. All by himself.

So, the story as to why this game is so bad: SEGA struck a deal with Microsoft to have a next-gen Sonic game out on the Xbox 360 by the end of 2006. However, realizing that the upcoming Wii was too underpowered to run Sonic 06, SEGA opted to split Sonic Team in half, sending Sonic 06's original game director with this other half to make Sonic & the Secret Rings. Later into development, Yuji Naka, one of the three original creators of Sonic the Hedgehog, left SEGA after dissatisfaction with his managerial role he was in, when he wanted to be hands-on with development, and he headhunted staff from Sonic Team, further crippling the development team, and SEGA was unwilling to fill the missing staff, resulting in a practically anemic development team with zero hope of putting out a finished product.
