The title best known for using hammer space is Ranma 1/2, a harem comedy about a teen guy with more fiances than he knows what to do with, a fighting style literally called "Anything Goes Martial Arts," and a curse that turns him into a girl with cold water. It's pretty out there, but it was popular enough in the day to be considered a classic now

"Hammerspace/Malletspace" is an old cartoon trope. When a character pulls something out of nowhere they are getting it from there. The term was popularized primarily by manga and anime fans as it was very common for a female character to pull a giant mallet or hammer out of nowhere, usually to bash an annoying male with. Popular female characters utilizing this ability includes these two, Akane Tendo(Ranma 1/2), Kaori Makimura(City Hunter) and others.

Fun fact: scott pilgrim actually has a videogame that was released digital only in 2010. It was actually the leading videogame that drove the concerns of digital vs physical gaming since it was delisted from the digital stores in 2014 (probably due to licensing issues). There was never any hope of this game making a return until an announcement was made about a year or two ago stating that it would be making a comeback. It was finally back in 2021.

The NEXT one, however, is a fan-favorite, a highly-debated matchup, and Chad James, voice of Boomstick, has stated multiple times was the hardest victor to determine, possibly to this day. They were debating it for months and even made two fight Endings (one for each winner) due to how tight their schedule ran to the episode's premiere. Most people tend to agree with the winner, but don't be ashamed in the slightest if you pick the wrong guy. It really feels like a 50/50 shot at some points.

The reason why they were fighting seemed to be Sonic was passing through while Amy was chasing after him and he knocked over Scott and Ramona, as Ramona came to, Amy walked in, frustrated that she lost track of Sonic and Ramona, only seeing Amy present and not Sonic, attacks her presumably thinking that she was responsible for knocking them over, that's my interpretation of their reason for fighting, at least

I assure you, absolutely nobody disagrees with the results of this battle. The most diehard Ramona and Scott Pilgrim fans completely agree, she hasn’t the slightest chance against Amy. Like I said in the previous video, this is one of the most one sided battles in this show’s history. Doomsday is from DC comics and he’s the one who killed Superman. Once you see how much of a beast he is, hooooo boooooy. And his origin is really REALLY messed up.

This fight is kind of an interesting case of BS. On the one hand yeah, Amy has a solid stat advantage in pretty much all categories besides strategy and experience. However, what the episode didn't mention is that Ramona's Ex only got a shot on her purse to escape by attacking Scott, an inexperienced 3rd party when it comes to subspace. Assuming there wouldn't be any such 3rd party in a death battle, Ramona's subspace would be an instant win move. Scott pilgrim goes out of its way to show how powerless someone unfamiliar with the subspace highway is especially in comparison to someone who knows what they're doing. So if Ramona got Amy into there, any stat advantages Amy has on the outset wouldn't matter anymore. It's actually a pretty classic vs debate of stats vs hax and this time, hax aka Ramona should've taken the W.

And with Amy's major speed advantage I definitely think there's a good shot of that happening. However Death Battle concluded that Ramona would be able to get Amy into the Subspace but Amy's stats could just blitz out, and that is what I refute. As far as I'm concerned, with how the subspace is effectively a pocket dimension plus genjutsu that requires intricate knowledge to effectively interact with, it's a no nonsense win IF Ramona can actually get Amy into it somehow.

Piko Piko Hammer Amy uses based on Pikohan? Toys mallet Toy Hammers. It's tough enough to break through robots but it's still a toy hammer going against a sledgehammer Do to game balancing everyone is basically Sonic but games where Amy is playable Sonic Adventure and Sonic Advance Amy cannot spin jump or spin dash. She's fast enough that she can keep up with Sonic maybe with acrobatics. She only has Sonic skills and abilities through multiplayer Versus mode. Over in Sonic Heroes everyone can make a tornado. She can't run a circle like Sonic and Shadow and she doesn't have Ninja magic so she has to summon it out of her hammer so I guess that would be an Amy ability
