Appliancers - Failed Cards, Archetypes, and Sometimes Mechanics in Yu-Gi-Oh

When piloted by Roboppi in Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains, Appliancers seemed like a truly terrifying strategy with no limits to what it could do, with it managing to take down Ghost Girl’s Altergeists, and it was even a split second away from completely crushing Soulburner.
But without the mind of a genius Artificial Intelligence to make the strategy work, these Appliances have been left behind in the scrapyard, unrecycled and replaced with more modern technology.
Which is why today, we’re going to look into why Appliancers never managed to clean up the metagame, how they can sometimes feel like a chore to play, and the surprising strength of these Brave Little Toasters.
