I think the feature is especially striking in pre choruses, where the way they build up is just reminding me of kda. In addition, if you are looking for a reference in motives on the musical extent, Drama 01:34 winter goes C-B-A-B-C, which is exactly the same with Villian-KDA 00:52.

And technically it is sure that it can be said that kda don't have their own "style". But I think they do have their own music vibe. Despite the simply game-related lyrics, which might lack in depth just as you mentioned, the music itself is really special I think. A combination of kpop and western pop generally (in both instrumental and vocals), deep and maybe dark percussion and bassline, as well as the satisfying build-up. And when you got these features, it could be just kinda kda vibe, not necessarily a specific "style". Anyway, it's still just my subjective opinion based on some instinctive perception of vibes.
