@@omaidkhan6398 It depends brother how you count. Some scholars numbered the long verses as two or three verses, while some others regarded them as one whole verse. Besides, Shafii scholars regarded “bismillah” (1) as a part of each sura and didn’t count them. But the Hanafi scholars regarded each Bismillah as specific verses, so counted them. It’s the same about the huruf-u muqattaa (some secret letters which are written in the beginning of some suras like ”Ya sin, ha mim”.) Some scholars numbered them as specific verses, while the others not. So if you consider all those the number will increase from 6236 to may be upto 6666 but fundamentally the number of continuous sentences are 6236 only.

Then we fashioned the sperm into a clot; then We fashioned the clot into a shapeless lump; then We fashioned bones out of this shapeless lump; then We clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed it into another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.” Holy Qur’an, 23:13-15 The Arabic used in this verse accurately depicts the detail and sequence of how we develop in the womb. The Quran describes how the conceptus is produced from a mixture of elements, how the early embryo clings onto the uterine wall, how it then develops into a differentially formed lump, before developing bony structures clothed with flesh.
