My municipal water is pretty good already I'm more interested in just drinking water do you make smaller units that make 5 to 10 gallons per day thats about all im interested in?

That’s a lot upfront cost and then every three months you have to replace the filters for $1000. That doesn’t even make sense. That’s way too expensive. They need to create filters that you can just clean and put back. This wouldn’t make sense. He’d be better off just getting a well.

Yes, big investment. I understood the 15yr to be their warranty period. If it was in lieu of a water bill or in lieu of digging another well, the investment would make sense. Same principle with solar. High upfront cost for self sufficiency later. You can easily argue both ways. In my use case, I have a shop for my business with no running water. A small unit would make sense for me. The $25k unit supply’s a lot of water per day. I don’t think most homes would use more than 120 gallons of water a day

Try running plumbing to a house from a municipal water system for 25k. Or dig a well and run plumbing from that. None of your home's current plumbing has any warranty, much less 15 years

Yes, we have visited this argument. These machines are for areas of the world that struggle from municipalities not being able to provide clean water. Also for wells that have become contaminated or not usable in some way shape or form.

$25k with up to an additional $5k a year in maintenance and upkeep!?. No thank you. The point of going off grid is to save money. I should have made my initial $25K back in five years not spent an additional $25K😮
