I think you needed more card draw and token generation, but other than that, I think you made some good choices. I’m definitely putting a grave pact in there. I currently have a dictate of erebos, but it’s more expensive and the pact ups my devotion for Gary. Maybe I’ll double down and have both in?

Dictate is a combat trick and therefore better imho. The 1 extra devotion for Gary shouldn't be a reason really..

Don't skimp on your sac outlets either! If he had a sac outlet out when he had mikeaus+venegful dead+plague Belcher on the field the game would have been over. Carrion feeder, phyrexian ghoul, nantuko husk, grimgrin corpse-born and Nim shambler are all on theme sac outlets that work well with Pyre of heroes. Then you also have the 3 staple Altars; Altar of Dementia, Phyrexian Altar and Ashnod's altar.

Howdy, this is the first of your videos that I've seen so if the following is no longer relevant, I apologize. Speaking personally, if the animations of the played cards shrinking could be removed that would be great. It makes it difficult to read the card without pausing the video. Just personal preference. Otherwise I enjoyed the vid!

Having said that the best 2 opening hands also seemed to have the best game - and really solid decks. Actually learned about Dread Marn this game so thanks for that. Might slip it into Wilhelt or Savra myself
