Safc fan here as well. I completely agree. So many players of Rooney’s calibre take the easy option and become a TV pundit. I love to see an English footballing legend manage after retirement from playing. I hope he does well.

I've watched Plymouth's highlights every game this season and apart from the Wednesday game they play some very good football, their problem has always been that their heads go down when they concede. Hopefully this game gives them some confidence.

Witnessing this special moment was something for eternity, the nerves that disappeared the moment Argyle equalised, this was followed by a unrecognisable Team compared to the first half, some difficult refereeing decisions, but the Argyle kept on building and building, the late equaliser from Sunderland made me think or lead was gone and we would have to hold on for the draw, but then our man for special moments came to the rescue…. Hail super captain and superman Joe Edwards, and a bigger thankyou to our Chief Janner Wayne Rooney who’s tacktics and changes at half time and after created this fantastic win. Sending Sunderland Home with nothing but a suntan from our beautiful Southwest weather.

I'm an Argyle fan and agree with you reference the camera angle, they used to have the TV cameras in the grandstand opposite so the sunlight wasn't an issue, wish they would go back to the other side of the pitch.

This coverage is atrocious! Firstly who the F is RooMey? The director has all the cameras but won't use them until replay. All shot on extreme wide shot (EWS) and no one on CCU (camera control unit) to ride the camera irises, it's either over exposed or under. No time display or the occasional reaction shot wouldn't go astray. Do better Great Britian

Im sorry like but hume was absolutely embarrassing. That cissoko took the P out of him, did he manage to stop a single cross? 2 goals came from hume being far too slow, should of been took off for mepham after he got a yellow. And what on earth was Patterson doing falling backwards to save sbots? That 3rd goal he could of just lay on it and kept hold of it. Ballard was also atrocious, he must have missed kick 3 or 4 clearancs, 1 leading to the penalty. Dont get me started on neil, browne is leagues ahead of him. I like le bris so far, but he seemed a bit inactive in this game. Only 2 subs made, he should have slowed the game at 2-2 with subs, a point would have been great. Getting beat is 1 thing and it happens to every team, but i hate losing when every goal was avoidable
