Is this condition serious? Should it be treated?

There is almost no answer on non specific IVCD online and even doctors have told me that it's nothing to worry about. However, the articles I've found online say that it is a predictor of Cardiac mortality. Would LOVE to have a real answer. Is it something to be concerned about or not!?

@@SangreEsRaro I literally found nothing online except how to diagnose it, I reached out to the cardiologist that diagnosed me and my general doctor and they both assured me that it’s just a simple very small delay in my heart that your naturally born with and it’s something that just sometime happens. They told me that I shouldnt worry about because I was in overall great health ( no high sodium, no diabetes and etc..) however they did tell me that if I don’t want to have problems in the future that I have to live a generally healthy lifestyle but it’s not something I should worry about. They also said that my anxiety and stress about the diagnosis was causing my chest pain and shortness of breath, and every since they sent me to a therapist I haven’t had either of those two anymore

Sometimes it can be attributed to athlete’s heart syndrome

I think you videos are great and always find them educational but I wish you’d change your filter to 150Hz so meeting the latest guidelines 😊

The EKG Guy that would be 👍 great. Could you do a video about poor placement of V1 & V2 eg partial RBBB with inverted P wave if placed higher than the 4th intercostal? Also the difference to an ECG when the electrodes are placed on the shoulders instead of the wrists - eg increased amplitude R wave in inferior leads, lower amplitude R in lateral and the rightward shift in axis? Poorly/ incorrectly placed electrodes is such a problem around the world and it would be amazing if you could highlight/ educate about the problem.

I show a QRS duration of 92ms. I am a 41 year old male. I was given a diagnosis of nonspecific intraventricular conduction delay. Why would they have given that diagnosis?
