Why would Hesbollah agree to a ceasefire if there winning and Israel is on the verge of collapse. Israel needed 60 days to regroup and restock there armaments and will definitely attack Lebanon again once there stronger. This is a real tragedy for the people of Gaza and could be the nail in the coffin for there liberation, I'm afraid. God please help them for now they are surely alone😢

Yes, but the commitment from the Northern Resistance to continue fighting so long as there was no ceasefire in Gaza was only ever a PERSONAL commitment from Nasrallah - it did not bind the Resistance after his martyrdom. The new leadership were free to pursue the Resistance's 2 other major objectives which were to free up men and money by moving north of the Litani River and to rid itself of all the small arms and rockets which were a burden to maintain and have now been destroyed by the Israelis. This was a glorious victory for the Resistance.

@HenriqueDeSousa well Palestine is the only part of the middle east the hasn't accepted Israel is here to stay. Everyone else has moved on from the conflict. Even Hezbollah you can see is noping out of the fight. Iran has decided it's not worth it. HAMAS only fights I think partly because Israel seems determined to make them all but walk into a firing squad as part of peace but also because I think they are pretty terrified the war has gone so terribly badly that the moment the Israelis are gone it's like netanyahu right, he wants to delay the question of how did October 7th happen and who is to blame as long as possible and likewise HAMAS wants to delay as long as possible questions about why did they start this war. It's fine to blame Israel for now while it's ongoing. But the moment the war ends there will be A LOT of finger pointing and in fighting amongst the various groups inside Gaza about why they only have 6% of it left intact.
@redcloud84442 күн бұрын
This is a win for Israel not a major one, but a win nonetheless. Hezbollah was fooled into thinking they also won because they could lean on the narrative that they are formidable too because Israel wasn't able to enter places they wanted to in Lebanon. But that's not their primary goal in the first place, they were at this war because of Gaza, Nasrallah said he will never abandon Gaza, this is his farewell words; and now Gaza is all alone.
@sparkzbarca2 күн бұрын
Yeah Israel still is focused on Gaza more and the forced displacement of Israelis from their homes in the North was a real thorn for the government. While there might be other privately held goals, the only publicly stated goal of the Lebanon invasion was ending the rocket attacks and returning it's citizens to their homes in the North. That happened. And despite all the "heavy casualties" rhetoric the fact is even this channel believed their would be much greater amounts of rockets launched and that Hezbollah would be able to really threaten Israel. Instead it was in fact less of a problem than Hamas and much more infiltrated by mossad
@rickydee58632 күн бұрын
Hezbollah was not consulted neither did it sign off on this ceasefire. America and israel are trying to drive a wedge between Hezbollah and the Lebanese army .probably in hope of fermenting a civil war in Lebanon.
@junominame24902 күн бұрын
Not all slone, but I hear what you mean.
@Peter-jl4ki2 күн бұрын
There are 2 ways to view this from Hezbollah's perspective: 1. The simpler one: they were fighting to stand with Gaza, but were defeated by Israel killing Lebanese civilians, and joining hands with the Lebanese president to put pressure on Hezbollah, now that they can no longer rely on Nasrallah's gravitas to tell the president to f off. 2. The complex one: In the current political reality, ending the conflict allows Hezbollah to refocus on their internal Lebanese issues, removes' the US excuse to join in on the bombing of Lebanese civilians under Trump. Israel fighting real soldiers, and actually having to defend against someone who hits back helps Israel's propaganda, and - more importantly - it helps Netanyahu's propaganda. The Gaza genocide can only be ended in one of 2 ways, either international pressure or internal pressure within Israel. Removing the Hezbollah front increases both of those, by removing a distraction, refocusing the spotlight on Gaza, and temporarily strengthening those Israeli voices that demand a ceasefire on all fronts because they want the soldiers back in the workforce.

All countries can be subject to the ICC. Western countries however typically cite the fact that they have an independent judiciary that can hold war crimes to account internally to prevent the ICC from moving forward with investigations against them. Israel's independent judiciary however clearly had no interest at all in investigating the war crimes going on in Gaza, so it fell to the ICC.
@sparkzbarca2 күн бұрын
No only countries which signed the treaty are subject to the ICC. Israel did not however Palestine did. In this case the ICC is using that to exercise authority. Russia for example also is not a signatory but Ukraine is and this was used to go after Putin. Syria on the other hand is not a signatory and is a civil war so it's leader is not being pursued despite using chemical weapons against it's own people because there's no jurisdiction.

With all things considered since this ceasefire was announced, including the fighting in Syria with Netanyahu threats against Assad, and transitioning of one set of Warhawk’s for another set in the US government, I’m making a guess that an actual war between the US and Israel with Iran is in the making, which could come weeks or months afterwards. As with Ukraine, the west will exhaust its proxies first to do as much damage before using their own military. As for the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, the fight against genocide continues. Until we hear more developments, this is projected path of what’s going to happen I’m guessing.

IDF was loosing in Lebanon They thought it would be a walk over like in Gaza

So you agree they won with this? Because if they were the ones wanting this then they got what they wanted right?
@ooezra2 күн бұрын
It was actually much easier than Gaza for them
@sparkzbarca2 күн бұрын
@ooezra yes although in fairness their aims were much more limited. Had they decided to have the goal of dismantling Hezbollah and ending it as an organization, as they say is the goal for Hamas in Gaza it admittedly would be going on still and continue for a very long time. Israel could have secured a Gaza Peace deal a year ago basically if they were willing to accept Hamas still intact. It's the fact they want HAMAS eradicated that stops it. Can be rather difficult to get people to agree to sign their own death warrant voluntarily. But Hamas has actually shown it's much more resilient and oddly much much less penetrated by mossad. It's not just the pagers either but the fact that leaders not seen in years were targeted in weeks that force you to go wait a minute, how much does Israel know

❤ from occupied usa. Thank you all so much, you are truly priceless! I think this so called ceasefire would never happen under the old, assassinated leadership of Hezbollah. The new untested political leaders, under enormous pressure, caved and gave the US/Israeli axis a political victory they do not deserve or could have achieved on the battlefield! This is a sad fact and should not be over looked. 42:22

The siege of Baghdad took place in early 1258 at Baghdad, the historic capital of the Abbasid Caliphate. After a series of provocations from its ruler, Caliph al-Musta'sim, a large army under Hulegu, a prince of the Mongol Empire, attacked the city. Within a few weeks, Baghdad fell and was sacked by the Mongol army-al-Musta'sim was killed alongside hundreds of thousands of his subjects. Arab pride
