Very much a standard 3 brush carwash. Just like ones in NZ (Most of ours are Washtec Softcare Machines from Europe). The different machine is probably there so people have the choice of brush wash or touch free.

$14 is the price for the top wash in NY. Most car washes around me are Laserwash G5, a few PDQ Tandems. They all do a great job

Updates: This place has Istobal machines, but now the Aquajet was replaced with a Washworld Razor. The Auto-Magic only a few miles from here, the old blue set of dryers were replaced with Premier, but the red Hanna Sherman Infinity Dryer is still there at the other bay. As of now, all that I mentioned, I GOT!!!!

I believe the one I go to here in Muskogee is a newer version of this. I've gotta say, I love it, and I'm into usually a soft cloth wash fan.

The actual name of the wash is a Wesumat Soft Wash W92.

Update: As of 2018, these have since been replaced by Istobal machines. However the touch free system is still intact.

These 2 Wesumat machines have since been replaced with brand new Istobal units! The Mark VII AquaJet however, is still there. UPDATE: The AquaJet was replaced with a WashWorld RAZOR.

Seems logical. Wesumat (now WashTec) are a european company, that model there is a slightly modified Wesumat W92. Very popular here a few years back, it's good to see them further afield.

The company that made this, Wesumat, have since changed their name to Washtec, so if ever you find a Washtec carwash you know it is the same manufacturer.

This is NOT Mark VII. In the 1990's WashTec made these and they were really popular. Only the front/stop/back signage is not original. In fact, Mark VII, Wesumat and WashTec are one whole company.

Mark VII is the USA version of Wesumat & WashTec. The touch-free bay is a Mark VII Aquajet GT while the brush bays are Mark VII Softwash GT (Wesumat). Later on, Mark VII made Aquajet XT and Softwash XT

Wow I never expected to see such a system in the US after all the videos made by you I have already watched. But this is the typical 100% European car wash with spinning brushes and contouring onboard dryers, and Wesumat's SoftWash W92, the origin of the shown one is at the same time fast and thorough, mind the overlap at bow and stern of the car, Ryko Softgloss does not do that. I guess the system is from the late 80s the Mark VII in the next bay has come later. I like your commented videos!

Multicolored foam seems to be quite popular in the U.S. Its uncommon here in the UK.

$12 is rather cheap for a wash, IMO. It's $21 here for "The Works": conveyor belt through the actual wash after a pre-vacuum of the interior, then vacuum, carpet wash, and interior window cleaning at the end. They do a pretty good job though.

Quite interesting to see the comparisons between America and Europe. This strange concept of a dryer that profiles the car is something us Europeans have had since the 1970s. And that whole American thing of not retracting the aerial in a car wash, whereas in Europe people retract or remove aerials. American car washing is tailored towards the customer never getting out of the car.

ok the owner of this car wash is poorly maintaining the equipment, i would not use that car wash again if i was you, look what they did to your radio antenna,' i say the amoco station car wash you did was 100 percent better car wash then this one that charged you 12 dollars, the owner of this station is just greedy you shouldnt go back to this one, they didnt even take as long on this one so that means less cleaning on this one, shame on that station owner, sure did make a great video though,
