My Opinion(do not hate me): Not many ppl hate them its just that Ed's songs are better than Taylor Swift's. He is a better songwriter and musician.. Some of his songs are beautifully written some are not but in the end they still sound good.. Taylor on the other hand writes catchy songs that get very annoying (ex Trouble) after listening to the song thrice. She is talented but Ed is on completely different level when it comes down to songwriting.

I like ed because he writes about experiences that were important or had an effect on him PERSONALLY. His "whattabouts" is personal.
