Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire N64 Playthrough Mos Eisley and Beggar's Canyon

Mission 6 Mos Eisley and Beggar's Canyon.
Ahh a rage inducing level. The jumps in the market place are tricky and take practice and the CP above the second sarlacc pit is hard to reach due to the ground being oddly shaped.
When taking those jumps for the CP's I find that switching to first person mode makes these jumps easier.
I like the Sam and Max cameo as one of the CP's in this mission any one remember that show as a kid?

Loved this level, the '64 could really push the polygons in the right hands. I think this, lylat wars & Turok were the first games I played for it & I HAD to have one then, glad I've still got it :oD

I was wondering why they were shaped as rabbit ears, but once I read the description, it made a bit more sense lol. I didn't know that Sam and Max were a part of Lucasarts too.

So far I say that this is the hardest level on jedi when trying to collect all the CP's. By the time you get the first 9 there so far ahead, you don;t catch up. Also the level is at night time too which makes it even harder. After trying for an hour I figured out you have to kill everyone first, then drive all they way back to the beginning and collect the cp's after there all dead.

I like how even though people like Luke may be super strong in the force, that has no bearing on their street smarts and cunning- where Dash most definitely outclasses Luke.

It's s modeled after Max from the Sam and Max series, which was also made by LucasArts

the sarlacc's mouth is all a deadly trap, but fall into it is a so creepy ending (literally junk food, 4:24), like faced the dianoga underwater.

Just started playing this game. I'm on the 5th level, I just beat IG-88. God damn this game is hardcore. Dark Souls is for casuals in comparison!

At first I was like "Shit this was easy... WTF were those guys talking about?" Then the Torso Attacked me... Then the fucking head.. "Are you kidding me?!?!" The Skyhook battle was pretty sweet though with Vader's SD showing up at the same time.

I kept losing this level until I realized it's not a race: you're supposed to cautiously sneak up on every thug and ram into them until they die

You'd find it easier ti shoot the bad guys if you hold the "Z" button (trigger button) while shooting, your laser blasts will stay focused and automatically train from one dead target to the next nearby target.

For anyone having a really difficult time with this level it isn't meant to be a race, you have to take your time and crash into each of the enemies like 10 times until they explode. Yeaaaaahhh... I was cussing a lot before figuring this out 🤣

This was one of my favorite n64 games, but I must admit that this particular level annoyed me. . . . always getting hung up on this or that and the enemies are no challenge at all--just a nuisance really.

Batou3 I still never understand how Dash (not a jedi just a regular mercenary) was able to kill them all by himself without firing a shot yet Leebo is worried about the Swoop Thugs getting to Luke....Why doesn't Dash kill half of them and get help from Luke? Instead, he lets Dash do all the dirty work, but that's kinda the premise of this whole game lol. Despite all that mumbo jumbo, It still remains one of my favorite n64 games and brings back many good memories from my childhood.
