Great interview Neely. Warren is my wild lil brother lol. I have been rocking with him from afar since day one when he was at the U. I knew the D line was going to change as soon as he got on campus. Prime has been my guy since he was in high school. I need Coach Prime to put Cliff Branch in the Colorado football Ring of Honor. He is the only NFL HOFer in the history of Colorado Football, the original # 21 and the fastest guy ever in the NFL according to recorded legal 100m times. He was only there for 2 years like Travis but back then in 1971 and 72 they didn't throw the ball a lot but look at his yards per catch. I believe he still hold the Buffs record for punt return TDs. Coach Prime always say " Commitment to 'Excellence" which came for the Oakland Raiders Al Davis, where Cliff Branch played 14 years, won more than 73% of his games and the only Raiders WR with 3 Super Bowl Rings. He represents everything Colorado Football and Coach Prime is about. I watched Coach Prime entire career, I thought he wore #21 because of Cliff Branch, he sure looked like him in uniform and their Commitment to excellence. Go Buffs from a retired Army Special Operation Airborne Ranger! Committed to excellence.

Look...Barry Sanders in 1988, in the Big-8 conference against the likes of OU, Colorado, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Texas Tech (last two were SWC) all which were ranked in the top ten nationally defensively, in an era where defense was schemed to stop the run game rushed for 2,628 yds in ELEVEN games for an avg of 289 ypg. In addition post regular season numbers (bowl games) WERE NOT included in season totals. Had they been Barry would have rushed for almost 3k yds, with his Holiday Bowl game totals, that's twelve games. In contrast Jenty has rushed for 2,497 yds at 192 rypg in thirteen games to date. Now if BSU were to win out in the CFP's he would be afforded sixteen games, literally an NFL season to set or smash Barry's record year. Even if Boise were to win only one additional game to end their season, Jenty gets fourteen games to do so. Now there will be those whom will argue that since CFB is now more pass oriented, Jenty's totals carry more weight for getting the Heisman, but I say no based on the numbers. Travis on the other hand was top three in every meaningful category on both sides of the ball. Knowledge of two playbooks, double teamed as a wideout, locking down an entire side of the field, and both oppositions OC/DC schemes geared towards limiting or stopping one cat, plus playing 125+ snaps per game...really? C'mon now. As good a season as Jenty had, and it was great, however by looking again his #'s vs Barry's?, if we're being honest his season wasn't "extraordinary". And I am in no wise hating on Jenty, because the young man's a Dawg. And imho our Micah Welch if utilized well could be a beast😊

You not telling the full story! Yes Barry had less games but jenty had less carries that what made him special! Jenty was setting out of second half’s in the beginning of the season and still getting 180+ yards! Travis won the Heisman bc he did something that never been done! And I agree with you Micah Welch gonna be special he reminds me of Nick Chubb big and physical, but fast enough to hit big runs
