This is the type of music that I was raised on because I was a 1974 baby I'm used to people like Walter Hawkins Timothy Wright Mahalia Jackson Shirley Caesar Mariners summer Dorothy Norwood Etc James Cleveland the songs you didn't have to pump yourself up to feel the spirit the spirit just move you automatically great days of gospel music

Brian Carr video was truly ,filled with the Holy Spirit. Yes I remember all those songs. I just felt ,he abruptly told the members to sit down when the spirit was obviously in the church. He cuts it off ,when he wanted to showcase his singing. When your church is rejoicing, the spirit cant be cut off, instantly. He should let the spirit prevail. *TO TELL THE MEMBERS:"SIT DOWN " IN SUCH A DEMANDING WAY MAKES HIM.LOOK CONCEITED AND DICTATORIAL. HE TALKS ABOUT HOW TO TREAT EACH OTHER BUT HE NEEDS TO CHECK HIMSELF, on HOW HE SPEAKS.12-20-2020 12-14-2021* A year later, songs still take me back to my Roots. songs that got us through many trials, hard days, songs that are true to our heritage. Thank you Lord, for bringing us through many journeys and we continue to Hold to God's unchanging hand.
