I went to a private catholic school for elementary. They went above and beyond zero tolerance, they would *ACTIVELY* blame the victim. In my case, the problem student of the class was stealing so I told on him, the TA’s response? They decided to pressure me into lying to the principal about a fabricated story they created and make me the problem and let the thief Scott free. That kid later went on to stab me in my eye so, they really did a good job with all that BS.

This is in full seriousness brilliant. The way the comedy creates the tone only for it to be punctured again and again when the severe and real trauma of a child is shown to the viewer is an unmistakable statement of the main point. And it does this with no cost to the comedic delivery? While maintaining the genuine horror of the trauma through a different artistic style for the harmed child? **mwah** Principal’s kiss. This is a perfect example of how animation is a unique medium capable of succinct and powerful messages. Grade A+, incredible stuff.

I once got thrown into a prickle bush and kicked in the balls five or so times, and the school ignored that and threatened us both with suspension if we ever did anything like that again. My only retaliation was shoving him as I got up from the prickle bush the first time, and about five people saw it but they didn't actually bother asking anyone else what happened. The next bad occasion was when one of his friends threw me to the floor for flicking my jumper at them after they stuffed leaves down my shirt. And when I reported that they punished the guy from the first incident and ignored the other kid just cause I wrote the first kid down as a witness. Later on his friend came up to me trying to pick a fight, so I flicked his hat off his head and he shoved me. Then he kept threatening me and talking about how I'm a weak little man for telling teachers instead of fighting back. I slapped him across the face and he barely flinched, then I got suspended for a week. Apparently my slap was so dangerous, yet they ignored the boot to the balls and the fact that I had to get checked out for damage afterwards. They only actually asked for my point of view on the event after the suspension, at which point two of the three teachers there agreed that I was absolutely set up, and that they screwed up when they gave the punishment to the wrong kid in the second incident. The fact that they realized they screwed up is probably the only reason that I was still allowed to do a ton of the special school events that suspended kids are excluded from. If it weren't for them I'd have missed out on a ton of shit that I was betting my future on, which would've miffed me to no end if that was the case. Idk why I bothered sharing this I just get real pissed whenever I get reminded of this, which doesn't get helped by my friends always joking about what happened as if it isn't completely humiliating to me
@Pleasestoptalkingthanks

I hope you aren’t friends with them anymore. Its one thing to be a “problem child”, its another to joke about it and not show any empathy or guilt over it as adults. If its any consolation, I got the same treatment, albeit not as bad.

This is both hilarious and deeply disturbing. The way Jason just sits there motionless throughout the entire video is incredibly unnerving. I appreciate the lack of movement, drool, or even blinking. He's literally had his life and health fully ruined, and likely cannot comprehend his surroundings. Jason is not there anymore, he's been gone since that rock rearranged his brain matter. All of this juxtaposed with the silly humor is so fucking dark. I love it

@@vissova | How odd. I attended an public inner-city school in Canada, and that sorta stuff never happened. Not much bullying to speak of, either. I suppose it all depends on the faculty? How long ago was this, if I may ask? Perhaps things have gotten better/worse.

But overall, I was more referring to the properly crazy "zero tolerance" stuff, like when a school in the USA suspended a kid for biting a chicken strip into the shape of a gun. Or another that tried to expel a diabetic kid for bringing drugs (penicillin) to school.

This reminds me of a similar (but different) situation that happened to me at an all boys Catholic school in New Zealand in 2008. I never called anyone a 'poo face', I simply asked some kids to move out of the way because the bell rang and I had to get in line class. The kids ganged up on me and gave me a black eye. I didn't fight back. And yet, there was no punishment for the kids that beat me. When my parents complained, the Principal said "They're just being boys. Maybe he should toughen up." Needless to say, I was beaten a lot during that year, until we eventually changed to a public school where things were taken a little more seriously.

to answer your question, yes. He is probably still alive, just in a state of minor comatose. His body can function, but the impacted part of his brain(frontal lobe) is responsible for memory. If he gets his forehead realigned, the pressure on his brain will be disrupted, and he may have mild amnesia and a headache after a few weeks of physiotherapy.

Can confirm this kind of shit makes you distrust authority your whole life and you go down a dark path of metal music and esoteric philosophy.

my sister once had a guy grab her butt, so she told the school counselor. the school counselor then proceeded to get angry at her because other people were talking about it. the guy who grabbed her ass? scott free since 23

I love how according to this man caving in somebody's skull with a large rock is the equivalent to calling somebody a "poo face" or "dumb head"

Zero tolerance policies suck and I hate them as a teacher. That being said, there are times no one witnessed the fight and it's he said she said. In those cases I have to issue the punishment to both. Though when you see it happen you always have to make it easier on the defender. Like "Yeah I know admin is going to force me to punish you so bully gets 3 days in school suspension with tons of extra work and you get 3 days at home to chill, I'll give you a week to make up the work and your folks get a call home so I can tell them you stood up for yourself and hopefully you don't get grounded and can just relax."
