Net zero is actually a laudable if utopian ideal for an ultra-modern technological society, we all love our land and like breathing fresh air, the problem is what "they" are doing actually has nothing to with clean living, efficient engineering or green economics, it's just another façade they have wormed within to use as a tool of destruction, just as their fifth column has done to every other useful part of our infrastructure. More evidence of this shortfall of electricity is the anti-car agenda. Not enough electricity to switch to EVs so they will need to ration access once everyone switched. One of the largest councils in England is already discussing reducing person car use to permitted activities only as they have been made aware that once we switch to renewables, there won't be enough electricity for us to drive the way we currently do. In other words, the "15 minute city" agenda is their idea of how to deal with insufficient energy.

I use to work at Redcar steelworks we could produce 187 grades of steel ,port Talbot only produced 89types ,Scunthorpe produced 67 types ,but the tories let it go under ,what you don't know is 8months later they needed £440 million pounds of steel for the british warships ,no one in the country made that type only REDCAR ,but they closed it down and give the contract to Norway ,that could have kept the steel works ticking over for 10yrs if needed, what happened 2yrs after they closed the price of steel shot up and would still be in profit today ,as for electric furnaces ,you need scrap ,well most of the scrap is exported

Shotton Steel Works In Flintshire North Wales produced all types of steel, the work was switched to Port Talbot by a Labour government, only Port Talbot couldn’t produce the quality of steel so many contracts were lost. Here in North Wales we have never really recovered, despite a fortune being given in grants to foreign companies to come here.
