It’s definitely interesting to compare these 2 fans in person. I wasn’t that surprised with Panasonic’s lack in power & balance simply because of the big price difference between the 2, but wow has Matsushita significantly dropped their standards over the years.

agreed! I can't believe their quality has really gone downhill as time goes by. a disappointing outcome that prevents me from buying another new Panasonic or KDK fans haha.

FV-40AFU/40AAS are known for their unbalanced blades, so i'm not surprised with their vibration thingy during the operation haha

hmm, one or two of the blades seems to be heavier than the others. that’s probably the reason why it is so unbalanced

I Had A Feeling That The FV-40AFU Industrial Exhaust Fan Would Have A Way Longer Spindown Time KDK 35GSB Industrial Exhaust Fan Because The FV-40AFU Is Bolted Down With Weights To Help Balance The Fan Blade. I Could Be Wrong Though.

Panasonic/KDK fans are utilizing smooth bearings for their fan motors, which is why they could have a long spindown time sometimes.

The Panasonic is 4 bladed the kdk is the 3 bladed grey one the Panasonic is the white one
