The Etrian Odyssey III Super Arrange Version of Labyrinth I - Waterfall Woodlands, the first stratum of the third game. It's a lot like the first strata in the other games, but I dare say that this is my favorite one music-wise.

After a decade I'll finally be able to play Etrian 3 due to the remake. I hope that the remakes mean that Atlus found a way to use the map mechanic on the switch and not that it's just a test

Indeed! Looks like you'll just press a button to swap to the map and then just use the touch-screen as you would in the past. It's a little rougher than just having a second screen, but I think it will work out just fine. I know people with Steam Decks had been doing something similar for emulation, so I think it should work just fine.

I've always loved that stratum's music (second best in the series after Green Woodlands from the first game). And on hearing this Super Arrange version... This is the definitive version of it. You just can't possibly make a better version of this song. I wasn't convinced at first, but about a minute in, I was hooked. Fantastic job, 10/10, on my ipod right now.

Aegix Drakan It's one of those occasions where the lyrics thing actually really did it well because they weren't trying too hard. As for the ipod thing, just let me know if you want the rips of any of the albums. I own a copy of almost every single album that I have uploaded (hence me having a number that you can't really find anywhere else).

I was a late comer to the series, but 3 was the first one I played so hearing this completely swept me away, there's something absolutely bewitching about this arrangement and it has something to do with the lyrics like you say. You wouldn't think a first stratum theme could be made to be this amazing, but here we are. Thank you so much for uploading!

Unfortunately there haven't been a ton of albums coming out lately. I'll probably try to buy something before June, but it might be sorta techno/electronic like The Materials. Not my favorite style, but a fine addition to my collection. It's kind of outgrowing the shelf I have it on though.

your collection is great. i've been listening through the albums and they are all so neat. by no means is everything some of them try to pull a hit, but there are some real bangers like this one. i am just so glad someone exists who uploads them all in one place. anyways for real i usually do not dig vocals in these remixes but these are different. 1:39 in this tho tbh hnnnnnng.

I really appreciate the comments. Collecting these albums has not been cheap, and being able to share them with people is a lot of why I keep importing things. If you haven't yet, definitely check out Yggdrasil Leaf; it's one of the oldest and most underappreciated albums I have and probably my favorite for the overall vibe.

Atlus _has_ said that they have announced projects they wish to reveal this year. We may not have gotten anything for the series' anniversary (as id par for the course) but I hold out hope. March is usually a big month for announcements so let's see what happens then

I checked the insert, and there's nothing there. They DID note the lyrics for the ones in the other albums, such as SAV4, so I'm guessing this is just "gibberish" like when they use fake Latin in songs.

@@metrothered Oh yeah. I actually just finished a new run of EO4 and actually beat the 6th stratum boss. I had a bad habit of getting into the 6th stratum and never finishing the games. Warped Savior was super tough!

This is probably the farthest from the original source out of the SAV's labyrinth themes. The whole tempo is changed quite a lot. At least the addition of lyrics wasn't awful this time (see EOII's album).

The actual game uses a PC-98 style soundchip, so it's a much softer and "electronic" sound in game. That said, I adore the chiptune-like music in the game and highly recommend it for the music and the gameplay.

Not on this album. However, I highly suggest checking out "Hoist the Sword and Pride in the Heart" on the Ayahuasca album (I've got it uploaded). It's about the best arrangement of the game's boss theme, imo.
