I wouldn't say that it was undeserving as such. United should never have let them back into the game, that much is true. But United still had more shots on target, mor shots off target, more blocked shots, more possesion, more corners and more counterattacks. Can't really say that the wrong team won.

We missed alot of chances too, to add on that, one of their goals was a deflection that seemed so uncertain to net in and the other was a controversial penalty, Bissaka intended to pull his arm away from the flying ball but unfortunately it found him. Not an expected performance from a team like United, but Coventry was in deed a worthy opponent in this competition.

So the season is finished and I can give u overall update. Worst league position in PL era (8th) and having some of the worst statistics records in the league by having most shot against of all team and being the team that the oppositions create most xG against. Nice! Bottom place in the easiest UCL group with teams like Bayern, FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray. Beautiful! Exit from the EFL Cup by losing 0-3 at Old Trafford to Newcastle. Oh well, it's just Old Trafford, even Bournemouth won 3-0 at that ground. And then, you won the FA Cup! Brilliant season! 🤣
