I have been waiting for you to check this one out! I always learn new things from your in-depth analysis. I think you pointed out something very important about what makes Angelina such a compelling artist. Even when she was very young, she made such unique artistic choices. It wasn't just that she had a great voice even when she was 8... for me it was that (even at 8) she made the kinds of artistic decisions that should only come from someone with decades of experiences. Even then it was obvious that she isn't just a singer. She is an artist. A "painter of song" if you will. I think the only thing that outshines her amazing voice, is her incredible artistry. I can't wait to watch how her art evolves over the next few years as she approaches adulthood.

Yes 100%, I feel like she has always been profoundly aware. A perfect example is the entries she made in her diary at age 6 about the girl with no shoes. Incredibly deep thoughts for anyone, much less a 6 year old! Speaking of artistry, every time I listen to "Feeling Good" live on the stream at 10, I am struck by how she appears to be sculpting the song out of thin air with her wonderful hand movements (which I love).

Well articulated Rusty. It's like she embodies the prodigal gifts of her beloved grandma Mary,as you say she paints the songs, the poetic gift of Mery becomes emotional lyrics in Angelina.I consider these two, grandma and granddaughter different sides of the same coin. It's one of the most beautiful mysteries that I've ever encountered.

After this , Angilina goes to Norway and puts on 3 outdoor concerts and an outdoor concert for TV. And she sings a lot of songs. 18 in one concert alone. And she does a lot of belting and high notes. She sings Mt. Everest and she is almost in the whistle register. She has been holding beck on us. She is going to be the Master of Music, The Best of All Time! I would invest every penny I have to back up that statement. Any Takers? Ha! Great reaction! I just love your personality, awesome. 😎👍🇺🇲💯🌟

Fairy Voicemother, you have the most informative, intelligent and bloody funniest reactions/analysis out there. I learn so much. Hope you get that job! 😉 And as others have already commented, Angelina does belting aplenty on her new version of «I Have Nothing», while dipping into that lovely, rich lower register of hers by lowering it a third from the version she did three years ago. At the other end, she does a lot of very precise high pitch head voice pyrotechnics in «Mount Everest» that we have never heard from her before. Finally, I can tell you that at her final concert in Norway this summer, she kept well hydrated as she did 18 songs in an hour and half, and she (and her voice) didn’t appear tired in the least at the end. She did cry happy tears though, along with most of her audience, so no need to worry about that either!

My wife and I loved your reaction Angelina's music video version of "Suspicious Minds". Based on that reaction and your break down, we really believe you would enjoy reacting to her latest music video, released two days ago, "I Have Nothing". We can't wait to hear and watch that reaction! My wife and did travel from Washington State to Norway and watched her July 7th, and 10th concerts. Being able to her her live was amazing, and being able to watch that may home video recordings is very wonderful. Those recordings are not able to capture her voice as it sounds live. Absolutely what I expected. She made this her own song and she did it beautifully. I noticed Juliet sitting there she is going to be as beautiful as Angelina one day. Elvis' version is great and it always was, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own. When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 82 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched. Her phrasing in the last bridge is great. And she got Elvis’s ‘Oh Yea’ at the end of the song. The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammys), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers. The two small kids are her uncle Mike's kids, and the older girl is Angelina's sister. 🙂 She is over 6 ft tall.

Your review was, as all your reviews have been, informed with deep knowledge, warmth and humor. Yours was the first review I viewed that went into vocal health. I know this will not happen but it would be wonderful if you or someone like you were able to listen to the whole of Angelina's concerts with the focus on the health of her voice in relation to the amount of singing she did and how she sang. I want Angelina to be around and great for a long time. All angels do. I can only hope that her team and Republic Records and Angelina herself are scrupulous in caring for the greatest voice on the planet. And you, Ms. Fairy Voice Mother, are just a delightful joy. Love your reactions! After watching this video many many dozens of times, I found the imagery and lyrics together telling a story. In the beginning, Angelina says she's caught in a trap and can't walk away, because the love she has for him holds her in place. Angelina then asks him if he knows what he's doing to her with his constant mistrust. We see girl #3 (Angelina's little sister Juliette) and then Angelina as she is now. His mistrust has caused her heart to age, and if left unchecked, her heart will be dead to him. Angelina wants to return to her earlier state, with an unrestrained love for him, but that won't be possible if he won't believe her. Imagine yourself in that relationship. How long would your love last you if your beloved would not believe a single thing you say? Would your ability to love age and eventually die in such a relationship? I believe this is the ballad she's performing. There's another performance that came out at the same time. She's sang "I Have Nothing" at the Allsang Pa Grensen 2022 music festival in Norway; the same venue she performed at just after winning NGT in 2014 at age 8. Angelina covered this song at age 13 (located on her cover channel), as part of a Whitney Houston Tribute. Look at that one first, and then watch this live performance she made at age 16. This new performance is easily located on KZbin, coming from the Allsang Pa Grensen channel. It's a wonderful look at her vocal maturity, even over 3 years.

Definitely one of my favorite reaction channels. Intelligent, funny and, damn, you can put your vocals where your opinion is. If that makes sense. I have to imagine AJ is very well schooled in vocal health. She is always hydrating during performances. She was showing the host of "Little Big Shots" her warm up exercises during her appearance on the show. She is a musically gifted genius. But that next level or 2 or maybe 10 that she is at has been achieved by massive hours of work and study. I would be astonished if a good deal of her training and study hasn't been dedicated towards vocal health, which is why she is capable of the techniques she possesses. The amazing thing to ponder, as she says, she will keep trying to get better. Can you imagine her in 10 years when she has 20 years under her belt and is the ripe ole age of... 26????!!!! She is a tremendously important artist and a world treasure.

What a glorious production, praise to everyone involved, so perfect for Angelina Jordan she rules the universe with her talent. Again, the great talent of Rob Christie playing the piano. The Cinemaphotography, a total MASTERPIECE, Excellent ART Cole McCarthy! Great touch, the cousins and sister get a cameo. Mery, you should be so proud, AJ's grandma produced this. (This red guitar is identical to the one Elvis played in his 1968 concert on TV.) Oh, the tears, and loss of breath, she is like no other in the universe. Here is a classic example of what this ethereal talent, Angelina Jordan, can achieve she takes a mundane song and turns it in to phenomenal classic. Angelina at 16 is the MASTER of her universe, she is top priority for both Stargate, and AJ's voice has been unique since she was 7 years old and now at 16, she controls us as an audience, leaving us hang on every word and phrase. She has written a number of songs.

Okay LET'S GO! After some reflection, I'm going to share my take on the message I think Angelina is presenting through her arrangement and video images: We know from her charity work and her masterful covers of songs like Heal The World that she has a global viewpoint. I believe she's reminding us that we are all caught in a trap, since we're born and grow up in a world composed mostly of antique ideas and political structures. It can be so frustrating that we may want to check out early, but we can't do that. The reason is that we love and are loved. It makes the experience worthwhile. But we can't grow in love if we're always mistrusting each other We can't go on together on this planet with suspicious minds. Pure genius.

Thank you Fairy Voice Mother - Angelina has sung quite a few Elvis songs over the years - either ballads or or more rock style songs that she makes into a ballad - like this one. I think for Angelina it is more important to bring out the story, with her interpretation of the emotions. Her live performances are so impressive, sometime the emotional expression takes precedence over the technical quality, but when you are there in the open air setting with live music she sweeps us up into that "special world of endless joy" that she inhabits during the performance. I was there on the 10th July concert - most probably the best. Angelina had tears of joy between the songs, as for the audience, tears flowed endlessly. The energy of the crowd just grew and grew. For you to give a proper analysis of her performance you need to experience the live performance. I hope that she will return to Norway again next summer and that it would be possible for you to witness it!

Girl, how can we not love your reactions? In less than 1 mo, Over 1 million KZbin views since June 22, 2022❗️ Her Beehive hairdo was an homage to Priscilla. Many photographs of her hair exactly like that. A Leather outfit he later wore. The guitar is the Elvis‘s 1968 “Comeback” Guitar! Rob Christe actually owns this. The two young children are her cousins, her Uncle Michael’s children, the older girl is her sister Juliette. She even had a framed photo of Elvis, at this location. Rob Christie on piano.🌸

Angelina never fails to impress with her amazing talent. She takes a song and makes it into her own, still giving homage to the original artist yet making you feel as if she was singing just for you. Everytime I listen to her it brings tears as she translates the feelings in the songs and makes you feel every one of them...again BRAVO Angelina. On a different note, I have a group that I'd love to hear your analysis of, their names are Chapel Hart; two sisters and a first cousin who have been trying to get into Nashville for the last couple of years, they auditioned for this years Americas Got Talent singing "You Can Have Him Jolene" their take on where the story in the original would be in 2022! The song whose link I'll include here is to one of their other songs and I have to say they have the ability to affect your emotions as it did mine. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jn3QoHZ5Z5mqfpI Thank you for your thoughtful and insightful analysis of Angelina's cover of the King.

I have been watching reactions for years... I have watched 100 reactions to Yebba "My Mind" and then I watched yours. Best yet by far. Subbed so fast. I really appreciate the way you break down the technical aspect of the vocal but understand that how it makes you feel is way more important. You are fantastic at what you do. I know this isn't the Yebba song, but I just found you today, so down the rabbit hole I go. That is all. :)

Indeed a vocal anatomy nerd - but in a good, and very educative way! Yes, I too hope Angelina is using every resource in her development, including high quality vocal coaching and practice, and not simply relying on her own resources and instincts, spectacular as these clearly are! We can always learn from others. She would of course need to find someone simpatico... Yes maybe yourself. Seriously. And on the topic of being serious; clearly you can sing ANYTHING. What are you doing with your own beautiful voice?

As always stunning, both you and her. Your analysis of vocal technique is so easy to understand and when combined with your fantastic sense of humor makes you one of the best vocal reactors on KZbin. Watching you break down during Bohemian Rhapsody just shows everyone how big your heart is. Don't change a thing and everyone who loves what this young lady does should tell people to subscribe and no I am not a member of your fan club because you don't have one. Also Angelina was really good too. I think all of us would be delighted to hear you react and analyze KZ Tandingan doing "Rolling In The Deep". There are two. FINALLY! I've been waiting for you to do ANY further reactions to Angelina. I really enjoyed your first two very thorough and knowledgeable (not to mention very charming) reactions and hope we will not need to wait another 4 months for the next one. I fully expected you to to do some of the "knock-you-socks-off" performances like the live "Feeling good" (at 10), Etta James's "I'd rather go blind" or Whitney Houston's "I have Nothing" when she was 12/13, but who am I to argue with the expert? All I ask is: Please do some more Angelina reactions!

Hi Fairy. I'm Danilo, an Angel from ROME Italy and I'm one of the blessed few who were in Norway for her concerts. I was in Kongsberg on July 7th. You probably already have but, if not, check her live performances. Like your style and the way you pin point some of the "magic" that she does with her "instrument". She knows it inside out, has total control over it. She sails through the register at will, bending the rules now and then whenever she deems it fit or sometimes just fun to do. She is a QUEEN in every aspect of the word. Little info. The first 2 small girls are actually Angelina's cousins, the 3rd one is her sister Juliette. Like your red hair. You've got yourself a new subscriber. Bye.

The visuals are amazing. You skipped (fine of course!) the part where she comes in uncovers beautiful pieces of the past to bring them into the present. Her little cousins and her sister in the white dresses Angelina used to wear as wel, give a beautiful image of her growing up. Than there is the Elvis imagery: the rhinestone boots, the microphone, the 1968 comeback black leather suit and the red guitar, her Priscilla beehive and even the red suit Rob Christie, the magnificent piano player, fits that 1968 era. I love all your technical analyses: super interesting! Also the positive energy and vibe you give, make it a joy to watch your video’s! So many thanks :-) She has an wonderful lower register and keeps quite low here but she has a higher register as well. Check out ‘Love on the brain’ in the playlist below and Mount Everest: lovely to listento. I don’t doubt a second you are totally right though. The way I see it, is that she has a very rich vocal toolbox and I think the vibrato you remember is still tucked away just not used here. The same with her belting. In the recent concerts she sang ‘I have nothing’ from Whitney again a few times. She recently did four concerts in Norway. She was having a lot of fun and was really happy to be back on stage: you can see her giggle, laugh, chat, play guitar, wipe away happy tears. Really a lot of fun to watch if just for your own fun: kzbin.info/aero/PLgVH9DUPH5QorN0ofzcbOYQSXXlDzyfA9 A lot of improvisation in those performances and ad lib including of the band. You get to see a wider variety of her abilities and also see the real and wonderful person she is on stage.

Wow, my first time watching you do a reaction. You are brilliant from professionally speaking about her vocals to acknowledging the surroundings. Yes, she has had to live beyond her years since age 7 winning NGT. She was a child prodigy and now she growing into a mature young woman. She has been given a gift from a higher power but she worked incredibly hard to master it. To me she is the greatest singer, artist composer and incredible human being that has ever walked the earth. The barefoot Angel is just starting to spread her wings. You have a new follower

I always enjoy listening to your reaction to Angelina. Most people don’t understand she’s been singing for a very long time, and her arsenal is quite extensive. Angelina can belt with the best of them, while at the same time not many out there that can rival her lower register. I’ve noticed that her voice has gotten much fuller this last year. When you think about it she still has 10 or more years before her voice is fully matured. Please react to million miles at Kurbadhagen July 10 and explain how she was able to do the last belt I’d like to know where the breath came from, I understand she has great breath control, but when someone startles her band ( there faces said it all) .

The world really need an explanation of the run at million miles (the triple Angelina). Please watch the Mattias Axelsson or Vidar Enerud videos as they have the best and most detailed sound. She started her first belt, then continued her next belt, and when everyone thought she was about to end, she just went to next level with a vibrating belt for a couple more seconds.

Great job as usual! Your enthusiasm and appreciation for Angelina is evident and great fun to watch. An idea for you would be to absorb her recent concert from Norway (July 10) where she performed this among 18 songs and finished with a ditty by Whitney Houston called "I Have Nothing". Your analysis across the milestones of that concert concerning Angelina's choices, voice ranges, and tendencies would be illustrative and very fun to watch. Plus you get to watch an Angelina concert on YT. Everybody wins!

As always your passion, dedication, knowledge and humor makes for a fantastic analysis. Your insights are much appreciated. You definitely want to check out the videos from the various concerts she did in Norway over the last couple of weeks or so. Fantastic high notes to deep soulful notes that make the most stoic tear up. Also, if you want a more rounded look and Angelina's range you must include "It's a man's world" high note belting at 12yrs old, "Stay" at 12yrs old, "How great thou art" also 12 and VERY deep. "Born to die" 12ish. "Million Miles" her own song 14yrs old, and "7th Heaven" also her own song at around 15yrs old. And many, many more. We all look forward to more of your unique observations to vocal analysis.
