New John Deere z970R with a 7-iron Pro 60

Taking the new mower out for a spin and mowing some grass. I am really impressed so far we'll see what the farmer son has to say. He was the very first one to drive it before I did.

I just got one 2 years ago. Went with the 72" deck though. Great machine, very fast, and tons of power. I suggest ear plugs, that motor when you take the throttle up is very loud on the ears. I tried out every one before I bought, and for me the deere was the best option.

Really nice mower have been considering the 970m as I mow commercially and think that hydraulic deck lift would be negative for my application. I lift my deck up none stop all day just mow over objects rocks, tree stumbs,etc. I was surprised by the speed of the lift in your video so maybe I need to demo it.

I got a z970R with the 72" deck and once in awhile you get the it bogged down but overall am impressed

Your Deere 757 mower went thru 2 engines. Could your wonderful CENPECO OIL be lacking.

Obviously Deere is not constructing the Quality of Mower they have in the past...Our 665 is i8 years old, with a Kolher horizontal engine( same engine that Miller uses on their Bobcat and Trailblazer welders)....And you say you have replaced the engine already?

Farming for Fun & Profit - my White GT-1810 is a 1987 year model. I've completely worn out 2 motors and I'm now on my 3rd engine. the fact I've run this mower so long is a testament to how solid the over all machine was built. this mower mowed all the farm grass until I bought the estate mower and spent long hard days as the main mower in my lawn care business. still runs and cuts great.
