I had plans to not take anything down until the 6th (my bday) but may take some after the first. But I really have to declutter/organize/toss some things. I do the 15 bean soup, pork roast with potatoes and carrots, cooked cabbage and cornbread. I’ll have to have it ready around 4. Hubby and I don’t eat dinner/supper that early but have to get to his mom around that time. Probably my favorite meal!!

I’m so sorry to hear about Daniel’s grandmother. I lost my beloved Dad 4 days after Christmas in 2019, he had been so ill with brain cancer, it was one of the worst years of my life. I try to be vigilant about removing makeup before bedtime. Otherwise, it leaves a mess on my pillowcase. Try the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes. It only takes a minute!

They all offer and often do help many times. But my house rule is that I want our time spent together talking and having fun not doing dishes. Dishes can wait for another time.. Family and kids grow up and are gone way too soon. That's my house rule. Unless I have something pressing the next day then I ask that we all pitch in and get it done and they do without hesitation.

Leslie, I am 57 and most folks say I look at least 10 years younger. I attribute it to using Vasoline all my life (since age 13) to remove eye makeup and I use Johnson’s baby bath to wash my face at night. I also wash my face vigorously with a wash cloth to exfoliate. Drinking a lot of water also helps from the inside out.

Well, I've done many programs and losing on all of them, but I've lost the most on Optavia. Which I've talked about in the past. However, at this time I'm not really addressing my weight loss due to the fact that there is always terrible negativity and misinformation on any program that I was doing. I also didn't want to look like a yo yo as I tried, stopped and tried again many things. You really have to do a trial and error search for the right thing that works for you as a individual. And each of us are so different with different levels of will power and so on.. Check with your doctor. They may have some great ideas.

We are still in Christmas mode we didn't do anything Christmas day except a couple of our kids that live nearby came and had appetizers otherwise our Christmas is not for another week from tomorrow January 4th because that's the way it worked out in order to have all my grandchildren able to be home so I'm really hanging on to the Christmas spirit as much as possible in fact I didn't even put get my tree completed till last week I put it up early but I started decorating and then I had a flu and then I continued decorating and yeah my house isn't even clean for Christmas yet between not feeling well and also if I get it all cleaned up beforehand it'll be all done again by the time January 4th rolls around but depending if we're going to Maui LOL but this year I feel like I'm going to be in the mood to take at least some of it down right after holy Three Kings Day that's what my mom always called January 6th Christmas... we have a lot a lot of winter left we might as well keep it brighter for a while
