great video Paul, Katie, Jasparoo. The potatoe bake had me wanting to rush up to Coober Pedy just to join you for dinner, looked so yum, could almost smell it through the screen. Have enjoyed following your travels through Utube and on channel 44. Safe travels.

Hi Feel Good's. We are long term subscribers and love your videos. We are leaving tomorrow to travel from South Coast NSW to Uluru, Alice and Central QLD. We have booked a Noble Tour in Coober Pedy, on your recommendation. In this video you show, in fast motion, the cyclists in Laura, SA. They were part of that Bike SA Mawson Trail ride. I was one of those riders, cycling 900km from Adelaide To Blinman in the Flinders Ranges, a fantastic experience. My question is, did you sample the ice cream in Laura? The factory has been operating for 100yrs. We were lucky to have it served to our 200 riders as our local produce desert, at dinner. Love your videos and thanks for the great insights, recommendations and inspiration to travel. Ps, even though we have 11 grandchildren, Kathy still wants to adopt Jasper!

Great episode. Had a small chuckle when I saw you drive down Horricks Pass. Just today I was editing our 2017 trip we did on our Can-Am Spyders, which was filmed on my old GoPro hero5. Certainly brought back memories. Even the roadside stops on the way to Coober Pedy, we stopped at a few of those too. Needed the stops to give our bodies a bit of relief from the saddle. It was a great ride that one all the way to Uluṟu and back to Broken Hill then home to Gippsland in Victoria.
@TheFeelGoodFamily Жыл бұрын
Wow! As I pass people riding Spyders I always wonder how a long ride would be… I’d like to do a ride Roadtrip one day - I use to ride a Suzuki 500 as my commuter (pre Jasper) with Katie on the back (barely knew she was there!!) 😅🇦🇺💙
@OurWanderingWays Жыл бұрын
@@TheFeelGoodFamily you will have to get back into riding when Jasper is a bit older. I was a late starter, 53 when I got my motorcycle licence. Not sure how much longer I can ride for as my hands have arthritis, but not ready to give up just yet. Wish the weather was a bit warmer here we would get out more on them.

In regards to the clothesline, when your not hooked up I usually place the clothesline right next the hitch and use the tow chain to wrap around the line and do up tight and the clothesline stays up all the time, regardless of the surface below 😃

Hi, more wonderful ideas of what I could do there… Have you every thought about doing mud tie dye t-shirts or squares to make a quilt of different places Jasper has been? I think Jasper would enjoy the activity (and it would make a great Jasperoo clip). Also, would you recommend everyone in Australia doing an animal rescue course before doing van life? I saw one offered in a Tasmanian wildlife rescue but have not seen anyone talking about them. The what to do’s if you find injured wildlife on the side of the road.
@TheFeelGoodFamily Жыл бұрын

hey team, love your stuff! I noticed you walked out on Lake Hart? on the salt, through the little tunnel? is this allowed these days.. In 2017 some Military police came along and told us to get off the lake, due to unexploded ordnance. Even the walk down from where you camped, down to the rail road, is private property. Owned by a farmer around there somewhere. Our group were told if we'd come back, we'd be locked up or a 10K fine..
@TheFeelGoodFamily Жыл бұрын
Whoa!! We did not know that!! Thank you for sharing - there were a lot of people down there - I think they may need to remove/close off the access points/walking tracks - it looks like it’s ‘encouraged’ as a ‘walk’ - we’ll also put a note in the episode description also warning people to make sure they check themselves to see if access is allowed - appreciate you letting us know 🙏🇦🇺💙

Maybe a question that has been asked and answered before in a video or podcast: How far in advance do you plan your bookings (accommodation). If one was to maybe start traveling full time, how do you avoid paying stupid money for stays especially during peak seasons (hip camps are now becoming ever so popular - thanks guys! And Trip in a Van! LOL 😂). Is there a crunch point when you freak out over not having somewhere to stay. Do you pre pay for all accommodation? Thanks
