సంస్కృతం అతిగొప్పభాష. భారతీయుల భాష. కాని భారతీయులందరూ మరిచిన భాష. ఇదొక గోప్యమైన (esoteric), అందరికి అందుబాటులోలేని - ప్రజోపయోగములేని భాషగా తయారైంది. భాష వాడుక (అదివాడేవాళ్ళకి) మానవ కార్యకలాపాలన్నిట్లో ఉంటుంది, ఉండాలి. అటువంటిదిపోయి, సంస్కృతం కేవలం ఒకమత (ధర్మ)పరమైన కర్మక్రతువులకి మాత్రమే పరిమితమైనభాషగా జీవిస్తుంది(దాన్ని"జీవించడం" అనంటే, అత్యధికసంఖ్యాకులు దాన్ని మృతభాష అంటున్నారు). ఆభాషలోని అపరిమిత విజ్ఞానం, భారతీయులెవరికి అందక, అలావారికి దూరమైయుంది. ఒకగదిలో పెట్టి , తాళమేయబడిన సంపదలా వున్నది. ఆ తాళం ఛేదించి, బారతీయులే దాన్ని వెలికితీయాలి, తన మత (ధర్మ) పరం, ఐన బంధము నుండి విడిపించాలి. ఆ "భాష" తెలుస్తేనేగదా, అందులో ఏముంది, మంచిచెడ్డలు తెలిసేది! అది, లౌకికభాషగా రూపొందాలి. ఊరికే "అదింతగొప్పది, అంతగొప్పది" అని సమయంవృధాచేస్తే (శతాబ్దాలు, సహస్రాబ్దాలుగడచినా) ఎవ్వరికీ ఏమీ ఒరగదు, జరగదు . దాన్ని పొగడటమ్మాని, కార్యశీలతతో ఈభాషని దైనందినవాడకంలోకి, తమవశములోకి తెచ్చుకుంటే, భారతీయులకి సద్గతీమోక్షం. కొందరికి మాత్రమేకాక అదందరికీ చెందాలి. ఇదంతా సంస్థాగత, వ్యవస్థాజనిత చర్యతోనే సాధ్యం. కాని, ఈ దిశలో ప్రభుత్వాలు ఆలోచించడంలేదు. పైపెచ్చు దానికి విరుద్ధంగా కార్యాచరణ చేస్తున్నై. ప్రభుత్వ నియమిత ఆఖరు వ్యక్తి - 1950 లలో, జాతీయాచార్య (National professor) సునీతికుమార ఛటర్జీ.
