Beautiful place and beautiful testimony Amy. Praise the Lord for His blessings and yes, He always knows what we really need better than we do! :D I am so glad that you are going to have a home birth. I had really wanted that for my son's wives but we do not have midwives in our area and the ones out of town do not like to travel to our town. It will be great seeing how you end up doing your herb garden, I still constantly recommend both of your books to my followers and I hope anyone reading this comment will make sure to get their hands on Amy's books, they are excellent.

How lovely to see this update. You must be nesting!!! That is so exciting and I am very happy for you. Got your book The Homesteaders Herbal Companion last winter and then found this YT channel a couple months ago and watched all your videos. It is so encouraging to know that you were in a subdivision before and able to make that work for you. Also encouraging to hear your story about how you got your new property, and congragulations! God gave me a vision of a property sort of similar back in 2013 and I know someday it will happen. I had never even heard the term "homesteading" I just knew that this place, this vision in my head of where I will end up is what God showed me. In these uncertain times and in the midst of all the noise all over social media yelling at us that we "better be doing xyz or yew will die!!!", in the midst of all that this video is refreshing encouragment. Thank you for taking the time to make it. I will be praying for you. Our 4th and 5th were home birthed and it was such a great experience. Please dont feel bad that your husband is having to do extra right now because growing a human, birthing a human and then sustaining that tiny human for 3 or 4 years with your own body is an incredible feat! Do not discount the amazing work that you are doing right now- its epic! Blessings to you sweet lady! 🙏💖🙏

Good to see you! Congrats on it all! Just an FYI. I have some of those similar raised beds. If they are like mine they are SHARP on the edges. I got pool noodles from Dollar Tree to put around the top of them. I'm old. I don't need any accidents. LOL

Congratulations on the new little one, somehow I missed that news. It’s so great that your husband is stepping up and doing for you, since you aren’t feeling well. I think you will love having a home birth, it’s so relaxing being in your own space and not having to rush off somewhere. I had one in the hospital birthing room, one in an independent birthing center and three at home.

We did a home birth with our sept baby and it was amazing! If god blesses us with more kids thats the only way to go for all future kiddos. Congrats on your new home!! And we added a milk cow four months after our sept baby.. some days were hard still, but it all worked out!

I just found your channel. What a cute family space you have! I miss having chickens. I hope to have our own garden someday, for now I’ve been spreading our wild raspberry bushes and fireweed / dandelions. I hope to make honey and syrup from them someday! Also.. you are so beautiful! I hope this isn’t odd to ask.. do you wear makeup? I used to wear a TON of it, but I’ve been trying to be natural for a while now. It’s a struggle with my rosacea. But I have fair eyebrows and I’m trying to just love my face the way it was created.
