3:59 There is so much potential here from YAS's perspective. I wonder if he knows that you can do Heavy Tatsu and OD Donkey Kick after this cross cut Axe Kick as well. Because that would allow him to regain control of the corner again if he switches sides. And if he does OD Donkey Kick he can even cancel it in to SA2 as well. He wouldn't have been able to control the corner if he did that in this situation, but it's just something else to keep in mind as well. It could literally win you matches. It does around 4000 damage

Don't they use it as a combo extender though? When I think of Ryu's Donkey Kick, I don't really think about using it in neutral either. You CAN use it in neutral but it's still pretty risky. As a Ryu player, we use light donkey kick for safe jumps in the corner and then we use the medium and heavy ones for corner combos. I will admit that medium donkey kick might be a little better in neutral than dragon lash though.

Lk. Dragonlash is 0 on burnout which is useful to close the gap. Mk Dragonlash is a combo extender. HK DL is plus on block. They seem pretty useful to me
