Still I got a lot to learn from you master. About 10 years ago I bought your book and it opened a huge door of musical information, for that I'm very thankful.

So you says, you says you don't want to teach us how to make solos note for note, but give us ideas? Mission accomplished, sir. As a hopeless piano and ukulele student that doesn't hear music in my head, I need help on how to be musical. My piano teacher made a remark this week. He says I'm a real Geek when it comes to music theory but I lack in ear training. Practicing your techniques helps me with that aspect. I know what to do, I just have to recognize the landmarks on my journey. Not as easy as it looks...or sounds.

Are you ok with some of your solo playing in this video to be sampled? I was thinking about using parts of it in a composition I am working on, but wanted clearance first.

No problem. Let me hear it when it's done!

Here is the song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGfFkGdqfMufb8ksi=Cg7yLoF921DUlKqH Not all the violin is from this video, but a good chunk of it is.

@@maxlinberg Hi Max. Great job! How did you separate the violin from my backing, or is that in there as well?
@maxlinberg7 ай бұрын
If I remember correctly, I believe the backing track is still in there, it just blends into the background.
