Probably because his first film was a spectacular failure. Things like that stick to you. Some actors are narcissistic, other are insecure and a few are realistic. I like it that he is grounded. It was 2013 when i 1st saw North 24 kaatham. Man, i still remember the feeling after watching that movie i was absolutely blown away by his acting. I was in Kerala for the 1st time for my best friend's brother marriage.. Also the south indian movies were not very common at that time so i had not watched any movie prior to that..... I didn't understand the language but thanks for my friend for his translations. And i still remember talking to my friend about the movie after days..... At that time only i knew he will be a great actor.. i makes me so glad to see his acting journey so far.. haha i often take pride in my north friends that i knew him before the south Indian cinema craze in north and before pushpa happened..😅😅
