“Do your Duty and Disappear” Wow what a quote and a mantra that if everyone follows we can see an ideal world! This guy is a modern saint! That one original quote shows his vast knowledge! He’s an underestimated genius! He’s not even kidding about the part where he said he listens to anyone with good input no matter who he is, as his whole election camping motto “not for 25Kgs of rice but for 25 years of great future” he picked it from a flood victim of srikakulam! Yes he listened to a guy from remote village who lost everything to floods and made it his goal to achieve! That’s how down to earth he is! In Telugu : మీడియాకి, ప్రచార ఆర్భాటాలకీ దూరంగా ఉండే పవన్ ఓ వెబ్ ఛానల్‌కి ఇంటర్వ్యూ ఇస్తున్నారనగానే అందులో పవన్ ఏం మాట్లాడతారన్నదానిపై సర్వత్రా ఆసక్తి నెలకొంది. బాలీవుడ్ విశ్లేషకురాలు అనుపమ చోప్రాతో జరిగిన ఈ సంభాషణలో పవన్ స్టార్‌డమ్‌పై తన అభిప్రాయాన్ని, సినిమా, రాజకీయాలపై ఆలోచనలను వెలిబుచ్చారు. వాటిల్లో కొన్ని విశేషాలు.. నిజానికి నేను వ్యవసాయదారుడిని కావాలనుకున్నా. కానీ ఇప్పడు అది తప్ప మిగిలనవన్నీ చేస్తున్నాననిపిస్తుంది. నేనో గొప్ప నటున్నంటే.. అదీ కాదు. అందుకే విభిన్నమైన పాత్రలు చేయలేక, చేస్తున్న దానితో సంతృప్తి చెందుతున్నా. రచయితగా, దర్శకుడిగా, గాయకుడిగా, స్టంట్ కొరియోగ్రఫర్‌గా చేసానంటే.. కొన్ని అవసరాల మేరకే. కొంతమంది ఊహల్లో బంధీ అవడానికి నేను చాలా ఇబ్బంది పడతాను. వాటిని కొంత సులభతరం చేసుకునేందుకే ఇవన్నీ. ఇలా చేయటంలోనూ కొన్ని అవాంతరాలుంటాయి. స్టార్‌డమ్, ఇమేజ్ నాకు అర్థంకానివి. మనసు చెప్పినట్టు నడుచుకుంటా. నాకు నచ్చింది నేను చేస్తుంటే దానికి డబ్బులిస్తున్నారని అనుకుంటాను. పవనిజం అంటే ఏంటో తెలీదు. బహుశా ఓ రోల్‌మోడల్‌లా తీసుకున్నారేమో. నాకు నేనుగా వాళ్ళకి వద్దని చెప్పలేను. ఇదంతా దేవడిచ్చిందే. అనుభవం లేకపోయినా అవతలి వారు చెప్పేదాంట్లో వాస్తవం ఉందంటే వారు ఎవరో ఏంటన్నది ఆలోచించకుండానే స్వీకరిస్తా. ఇక్కడ పూర్తిగా మంచి లేదు. అలా అని చెడూ లేదు. ఉన్నదల్లా వాటి నీడలే. దేనికైనా ఎదురు నిలుస్తా అనడం కంటే ఎలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ వెనక్కి తగ్గకూడనుకుంటా. వారసత్వానికి అంత ప్రాధాన్యతనివ్వను. అర్హత లేకపోయినా వారసత్వం పేరుతో ఎన్నో సమస్యలు ఎదురవుతున్నాయి. మన పని చేసి అక్కడి నుండి అదృశ్యమయిపోవాలన్నది నా అభిమతం. సినిమాల్లో డైలుగులు చెప్పే నేను వాస్తవ జీవితంలో ఏం చేయలేకపోతున్నందుకు ఎంతో మదనపడేవాడిని. భయపడేవాడిని. అక్కడి నుండి ఆవిర్భవించిందే ‘జనసేన’. వ్యవసాయ వృద్ధితోపాటు లా అండ్ ఆర్డర్ వ్యవస్థ సక్రమంగా ఉండాలని కోరుకుంటాను. నా దృష్టిలో సినిమా కంటే జీవితం చాలా పెద్దది. ప్రస్తుతానికి నేను నిలదొక్కుకోవాలనుకుంటున్నాను. మరో రెండు, మూడు సినిమాలు చేసి వదిలేస్తా. ఇది నాకు నేనుగా నిర్ణయించుకున్నదే అయినా నిన్న మొన్నటిది కాదు. చాలా కాలం కిందటే ఈ విషయంలో ఓ నిర్ణయానికి వచ్చా. పూర్తిస్థాయిలో రాజకీయాలపై దృష్టి సారించాలన్నప్పుడు మొత్తం సమయాన్ని దానికే కేటాయించాలి గనక ఇది వదిలేయక తప్పదు. అందులోను నటన, దర్శకత్వం లాంటివి చేయాలంటే చాలా సమయం కావాలి. నటనకు దూరమైనా సినిమాకి కథ, కథనం అందించాలని ఉంది. రచయితగా అయితే సమయమున్నపుడు చేయొచ్చని నా ఉద్దేశ్యం. సంపాదనకోసం ఏదో ఒకటి చేయాలి కదా. తెలుగు సినిమా ఫార్ములా మారాలని చాలాసార్లు అనుకున్నా.. మన దగ్గర (భారతదేశంలో) సినిమా చేయడం చాలా కష్టం. అన్నీ సమపాళ్ళలో ఉండాల్సిందే. కథకి అడ్డమని పాటలు కూడా తీసేయలేం. అలాంటప్పుడు కొన్నిసార్లు కథ పక్కదారి పట్టిందనిపిస్తుంది. హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాల్లో అలా ఉండదు. వారేది అనుకుంటారో అదే తీస్తారు. సినిమాల మధ్య గ్యాప్ ఎందుకంటే.. షేవింగ్, కలరింగ్ లాంటివి ఇష్టం ఉండదు. అందుకే గడ్డం పెంచేస్తుంటా. జరిగిన వాటిపై నేనేమీ భాదపడను. అన్నీ స్పృహ ఉండే చేశాను. చేసిన ప్రతీ దానికి నాదే భాద్యత. బ్రాండింగ్ (యాడ్స్) చేయడానికి నా మనసు అనుమతించదు. నేను వాడని వాటి గురించి నాకెందుకని చేయను. అదే అవతలి వారు చేస్తే ‘ఓ.. వీళ్ళు బాగా సంపాదిస్తున్నారు. మనమూ చేస్తే బాగుణ్ణు’ అనిపిస్తుంది.
