I remember after the boss fight figuring "okay, Wiggler's snapped out of it, we'll have some funny hijinks like when he ran Popple off of Pi'illo Island" then he collapsed and it looked like he was taken to heaven. My mouth fell open when that happened and I started getting tears in my eyes. It was so unexpected. I thought I was going to be so sad, but he just turned into a butterfly. Now I know in the Mario universe, there's no cocoon stage.

John Moss well the be fair Wigglers are the most misunderstood enemy of all the Mario series. They really aren’t hostile unless you anger them by either stomping on them or taking away their food. Or flooding their house like in Super Mario 64 lol

When I defeated Wiggler And paper Kamek, when Wiggler floated away, I thought he passed away and was going to heaven and I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Then when I saw everyone was sad about Wiggler, Luigi started to cry. Then I started crying and then bawling, but when I heard a voice say: “Hmm. WHY ARE YOU SO SAD?!”, he came back as a butterfly, I was like YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! and rolling on the floor with excitement

In my case when Wiggler came back as a butterfly, I was like, "NINTENDO, YOU SON OF A GUN!!!!" I was fooled into thinking that Wiggler has died!

They kind of are making a tradition out of it, like when Britta "died" but was just shaken up in Dream Team. This was a million times sadder, though, because Britta was more of a comic relief character that you never really got attached to as much.

I will admit a science I know. As you saw, before Wiggler transformed, he was tired and needed to take a nap. In reality, caterpillars are always sleeping when in cocoons. The only difference though between this and reality is that Wiggler transformed very quickly. I just wish they didn't make it look like he was dying with the winged goombas and everything. For 2 reasons. First I don't know what a seemingly death has to do with transforming, and second, making me feel like crying and everything. And after I saw these gameplays, I never wanted to fight another of the enemy wigglers again because the wigglers that are allies to Mario aren't just any Allie, but are actually the sweetest of characters I can think of. And each wiggler that Mario had a bond with was like love rather than just basic assistance with Wigglers and Mario caring for each other and about each other's safety. I wish Wigglers can be good guys more often because they are too cute to be thought of as evil. And

What I have noticed is that in every game in the series besides Partners in Time, there comes a boss that forces me to turn Easy Mode on. Superstar Saga: Cackletta, Bowser’s Inside Story: Durmite, Dream Team: Bowser and Antasma and and for this game, it’s this fight.

The wiggles death scene really made me feel bad for wiggles Like Director Morty who was possessed by the evil hammer and started attacking everyone then in the end Morty fainted as Luigi was sad since Morty was his best friend forever

Darn this scene always gets to me it was so sad 😢but when wigger transform in to a butterfly i was happy again 😊 he is one my favorite mario characters
