I love the RAMI. I was scrambling to find one after they were discontinued and found the last one in my area after almost giving up. Definitely one of my favorites. I’d grab a 97bd too if I could still find one.

I was lucky with the RAMI, a little after it was discontinued I kept looking, and found one in FL, made the arrangements to get it at my local FFL. I had to pay a little bit more, but I am happy with it.

Thanks, Dan. The Czech guns are all good, even outstanding, but the market for 9mm carry guns is SO crowded with choices (a good thing) that some guns that are not top sellers are just going to fall by the wayside. It's a shame for connoisseurs who appreciate the fineries of these guns. I will say one thing...quality is appreciated long after price is forgotten. Often the guns you want because they are quality will cost more, but you will always be glad you bought them. And there will be no cheaper price for them in the future than what you can get today.

The Rami and the 97b were available here for a long time. It was the spo1 phantom which sold well therefore the units were not always available. The Rami was probably outsold by higher capacity 9mms which came out a few years ago. As for the 97b, it had a difficult time competing with 1911s in .45 acp. In our country, there are 3 companies that make 1911s. A licensed gun holder here, has at least 2 pistols. One is a Glock or Taurus in 9 mm. The other pistol is usually a .45 acp 1911 made by one of the 3 local manufacturers. Hope your video would make CZ reconsider returning the 3;pistols to the US market. Great work Dan!!

I finally got a RAMI coming. It's August 2023 right now. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't think of a single handgun on the current market what could check off the same boxes as the RAMI. If you MUST have an all metal, hammer fired, sub compact, DA/SA, 9mm, that can still hold 14rds, I think you would be out of luck. I'm also one of those that "MUST", apparently, and I'm excited to have one coming.

Great video. I bought a RAMI and had nothing but trouble shocking to say as my other CZs had been awesome. I have finally done some work and have the RAMI running. It shot 3" left at 10 yards brand new. Wouldn't chamber any ammo 14 round mag spring needed replacement from new. So now that CZ has polished the feed ramp. I have adjusted the rear sights .050. And Wolf replacement spring in the 14 mag I'm now working on getting it into EDC shape.

Glad I stumbled up this video. I just bought a 75B Urban Grey w/ threaded barrel to match with my Wolfman, and saw that it was discontinued this year. Seems like it was the last all-steel handgun build around a suppressor that was made by CZ (they may renew it later). Got a 97B a year ago so I’m glad I picked that up when I did.

CZs is one of my favorite brands. Lucky to have 3 discontinued models, 75B stainless, P01 Omega, and a 97B. My main carry EDC is my CZ PCR.

I was lucky in 2015 to get my RAMI from CZ under their Blemish program for $425. I never did find the blemish. It was a fine pistol, if a little heavy for its size. But it felt so good in hand with the 14 round magazine in it that I almost always carried it this way. Someone offered me $150 more than I paid for it, so I accepted and used the money to buy a CZ PCR, finding mid-sized happiness in a carry gun. I always wanted to try a CZ 97 but never got around to it.

thanks for the video ✌️,, I owned all 3 and a ton more over the last 20 years,, the only 3, I didn't like were the 3 in your video,, especially the 45 BD the thing is incredibly accurate but it was a Punisher on the hand, not fun. I can honestly do without the three they discontinued, for whatever that's worth,, and yes I'm glad I sold them..

I have the 97b and I feel the recoil is greatly dampened due to the weight of the gun, certainly more than most 1911s. Love the gun and it is a tack driver.

If you like the CZs I highly recommend the Tanfoglio Defiant series. They are still making them from IFG and they are wonderful pistols.

I have a CZ 97 BD and it is a great pistol. Also have a Shadow 2, a compact P-01 9mm, and a P-06 which is like a P-01 except it is .40 Caliber S&W. All great pistols. Thanks for the neat video!

I wish I could get the Ramey. But since I can’t get the 97 I bought the sar K245 and it’s patterned after the 97 but it has a rail and hold 14 in the magazine and it shoots super nice just like I’m sure the $97 if you haven’t tried the sar K2 definitely try it it’s only about 550

A gun store I frequent seems to not understand the value of CZ. 6 months ago I come across a 2020 2075 Rami with a price tag of $700. I said I'll buy that. And I walk into the same store today and he has a 2019 97BD with a price tag of $799. I of course bought that one as well. Both CZ's came with their case and extra mags like the day they were first shipped. The 97 BD today makes the 6th CZ I now own.

I picked up the Phantom as soon as it dropped, but that RAMI took FOREVER to get. They were always out of stock. I finally found one and six months later it was dropped from the CZ lineup. I love the weight on it. Makes a small pistol shoot like a big boy. I never did get my hands on the CZ97. Another that was hard to find in stock. Fun one to watch brother.

I have those 3 plus a b model 97 . Then matte stainless 75 , cz 512 which is a sweet shooting semi auto 22lr. What else a 2012 po7 duty which was a Mexican cancelled contract gun. Think they also discontinued 75 omega urban grey. The cz 97 probably one of best shooting factory 45s. Up there with high end 1911s.

I could never couos get ahold the rami or p07 urban suppressor ready even when in full production. I Ended up getting beretta px4 sub compact instead and love it easy find parts, mags . Cz is dropping ball , they seem have major issues in production to the store or even wanting people to buy their products. Also if you have any cz good luck ever finding any spare mags and parts are near impossible to find for any model.

I was lucky to get a rami for under $600 pre covid. Was searching for a 97 for a few years, no luck but stumbled across a p-10 f in 45 acp, sweet handgun. Back in the spring I found very slightly used 97 bd, for $800, almost my favorite handgun next to my shadow 2. All of my cz’s have been trouble free.

I own a 2075 and a 97. In addition to lackluster sales, they were competing with other CZ products. The 2075 was too little, too late. Even had it sold better, it was competing with the CZ’s own P-10’s. The 97, while clearly superior to a MIL-SPEC 1911, was competing with the Dan Wesson line, and, eventually, would have been competing with the Colt 1911. With the resurgence in popularity of the 1911 style, and the huge range of variation available, the 97 didn’t stand a chance. In both cases, CZ would have been competing against itself, with less popular models. I’m glad I got them, to fill out my CZ collection, but I’m not surprised they’re no longer produced.

it would be nice if CZ made more of the guns ambi. The Rami was available in a poly frame with ambi safety for a while but it disappeared quickly. That 45 would be on my list but I am a lefty.

Nice guns, but they have an obsolete field strip procedure that is no better than a Hi-Power from 1935 (ludicrous that you have to remove the takedown pin/slide stop). The P-09 and P-07 have the same problem and also have reduced sized slides that can make operating them difficult in some situations. I have also heard that the takedown pins on CZ 75 variants can break after a few thousand rounds while some have trigger slap issues. So it seems to me that the CZ 75 series pistols are obsolete, while the P-07 and P-09 are not much better. Not sure I want a DA pistol like these CZ pistols as Glock type pistols work great for me (notably the S&W M&P9 M2.0 Thumb Safety), but if I did it would probably be a HK P2000 as it is fully ambidextrous and it is near impossible to accidentally activate this pistol's magazine release lever. It strikes me as a perfected variant of the USP Compact without the oversized grip of the P30 that is not well suited to concealed carry. If I wanted a metal frame pistol it would be the Beretta 92 (decock only) which is a far better impact weapon than any polymer frame pistol. I like the 92X Compact for concealed carry, but for military use the M9A4 Centurion would be my choice (ready to accept a silencer, RDS, and light/laser).

I'm not certain but I think they gave up on the P10F in .45 also. I believe something like 300 made it to the U.S. That is frigging unforgivable probably the only thing that would replace my G21 for edc.

My RAMI 70 is a cute 32 ACP shooter. It should be a desk gun to be used swiftly with a break-in and being in close proximity of a desk or cabinet, where you have sensitive items, like safes, jewelry, ammo stores, "guns", or anything of value. Threat, pull out Rami if that's all you got, end of threat.
