The old model Ts were made of wood and steel parts. You pulled out a window frame to. The windshields would of opened up by pushing it open. That axe head is worth more than a lot of the other stuff you got today. List it in market place as a old lumber jack antique axe head. 75 dollars some one will offer 50 and you can sell it for that. That will be more then you made on a scrap load. 😊

Some of those items, like the barrel hoop, old car rim and the ax head with the handle completely gone, are probably over 100 years old. We're talking 1890s - 1920s. The water is extremely dirty but I don't think overly acidic. Lots of very old car parts. Very cool.

I'm willing to bet if you check into it there was a barge that was either on its way to a junkyard or on its way from a junkyard to a meal that wrecked in that area because most of the stuff you pulled out was car parts. Also I hope you're cleaning up all the axes, hammers, and hatchets, that you're finding and putting new handles on them and then taking them in the other stuff to a flea market or someplace and making some of your. Most of the anchors I seen you pull out could be cleaned up and love to see the run on all those fishing lures you've been pulling out of the water. Go to a flea market and put up a sign that says River treasures and carry your cell phone with big wad of cash. I'm serious I see so much stuff you pull out of the water that could be cleaned up and reused it's amazing, you just have to have the patience to clean it up and redo it. And even if you don't make a ton of money the feeling of taking a piece of junk and making it new again is really nice. Trust me I'm old school and I don't throw things away I fix them

location was probably a public dump (or some one ran an old car into the river) at one time, such dumps were being shut down by the 1950s. I say "public" as they just had not come under anyone's authority at the time. Its not like there was a sign out saying "dump here", but rather people in general or local land owners just did it. Your heavy rod with dished out depressions is part of an old automotive suspension system (which many of the other parts are automotive). The "peg" with a ball on the end might have fit into the dished out areas on that rod. The hook thing looks like a hood hold down. Look at pictures of old automotive windshields they were mounted to side pillars sockets with balls so that the wind shield could pivot up and down.

4:27 not piston, they are valves.17:10 old vehicle like model T, early cars did have wood spoke. 18:17 it's a fledge. 19:03 ya pretty sure you found a place that has a pre WW2 vehicle. 20:12 car window frame. 21:03 this is just a guess but could be a base for suspension spring for a car, just a guess. 21:47 looks like a water cooling pump impeller. 28:32 an other wood spoke wheel, get i more and you can make a car.

It looks very much like you found the remains of a car from the 1920s. Valves (not pistons), what could be a crankshaft pulley, possibly a tie rod, rims, part of a windshield frame, what might be brake shoes, a bumper bracket ... all old and automotive. Could be someone lost a car in the river a long time ago.

I'm not kidding, some of the stuff you pulled out looked like it was pulled off of one of those super old cars that you had to crank start. You found the crank for it. The rims with spokes look right, with the wood in the rim. Rethink some of the stuff you got that day. Pistons. The "hat hook". Some front suspension parts.
