Yellowfin Kingfish Madness Part 3 - The Mother Trip

Matt is still playing host to Aussie anglers Paul and Lee and after even more big kingfish he takes them out to a secret reef just off Great Barrier Island where they hook into some monster Wreck Fish. Then to impress even further, Matt introduces the guys to our home base at the back of Great Barrier, a 42 meter luxury mother ship - The Island Passage.

That Hapuka doesn’t stand a chance. It’s guts we’re hanging out. I’ve caught snapper in the past in 70m and when I gutted them their swimmer bladder had exploded. I think that the Hapuna could not recover from that sort of trauma. However I congratulate ultimate fishing for there promotion of catch and release.
