the thning inside its mouth is NOT the swimbladder! Its the stomach and it's starting to turn inside out (thats why you can see a "tip") bcs the swimbladder has got a hole/rupture at this point. That fish is most likely dead by now..

You need a Shelton Fish Descender. Easy way to release big breeders without puncturing organs. It is a very popular tool here in California.
