Adaptor plug to use original GPS antenna is a must - the supplied one, mounted on the A pillar, is very poor in my experience. The factory is the way to go.

A fantastic option! However the gain on the GPS antenna can and should be upgraded pre purchase through your supplier which makes the aftermarket one just as good :) We have a huge DIY market for many makes and models, so showing how to use the supplied parts correctly is what we aim for!

@@TheFittingBay yes, my advice to anyone reading this is NEVER buy "cheap" import versions. Always buy from a reputable Australian importer.

Been watching your channel with interest, and you know your stuff, I had a 12.3 inch aftermarket android screen fitted to my Mercedes AMG C63s W205 on a 2019. Since fitting the air conditioning works and the settings, AC on and off, temperature etc displays as normal on the the Android side of the display but not on the manufacturer system, fans etc work but the system now pumps out warm air. Question is does the Android system software have anything to do with the running of the factory air conditioning? I am tempted to put the old system back to see if the Android system is the issue!
