Despite her confidence Sevana is too humble for her own good. Her intellect is as evident as her talents. I wish she would embrace her skin instead of fighting to avoid it. Trying to act like her skin isn't an attribute because *IT IS*. Taking a "color-blind" approach to her beauty/appearance is counter productive. I liked that she addresses colorism honestly and straight forward without dwelling in victimhood, rather just speaking facts. Ari pretending she doesn't know about colorism in JA is pathetic. The amount of "brownin" comments weh she get. And for her to insist that Sevana isn't experiencing colorism IN Jamaica when she literally just said Jamaican commercial agencies marginalize her is disgusting. It's the entitlement and denial/dismissal all lightskins have. Then , Ari feels smart? Why? After chatting fxckery. I'm glad Naro called that out, jokingly or not. ♎➕♏💕

Okay, who's this man who is interviewing her? These shady insults... I don't like him at all. He says he think she's passive aggressive, yet he clearly felt a way when she told him not to call her Chocolate. He dare to call her hypocritical and picked on her lyrics about not wanting excitement, and then saying her video dancing was hypocritical... her video is safer for my teenager to watch than half of these women in the industry, along with the message of the song. Like, right out the gate he was disrespectful. Then the comment about her personal relationships and asking if any of the break ups were her fault, or does she play victim... listen, she didn't have to come to your station and do an interview. The interview started to go better once he stopped talking and let the other lady interview her. Sheesh!! Like she said, CALM DOWN.

This interview honestly made me less of a fan of her, i love her music and i can separate that from the person. I don't mind a strong personality but damn she uncomfortably abrasive and opinionated.
